What’s your favorite park audio? Mines gotta be the innoventions theme from Epcot. Really makes me wish I was there...

That's definitely tied #1 for us too..
The other is the music played throughout AKL Jambo House. (not a park, but still favorite)

then there is the Soarin' music loop
The Illuminations score

All of these I have MP3s of, and we listen at home during the summer on the deck or pool.

Millenia score for Illuminations, hands-down. As for attractions, Goldsmith's original score for Soarin' Over California, "Golden Dream" at the American Experience, and the venerable classics, of course. I'm also one of those nuts who laughed his head off at how over-the-top scary Alien Encounter was, with the alien crawling around behind you and hissing and whatnot. I thought it was a spook-house riot.

I wish I was around to ride Alien Encounter... From what I heard that ride made Stich seem like It’s A Small World.

Why WDW has not released cd's with this type of area music is beyond me. I love listening to all of the themed lands soundtracks through the years.
Total WDW nutjob>:)

I gotta say the TOT queue music or the Tomorrowland area music (Space Mountain's soundtrack and queue music also makes the cut under this...) Favorite resort soundtrack? The GF.... Still looking for the actual soundtrack they use (several fake ones currently on YouTube...)

The 6-CD boxset of Disneyland Park attraction and land music - released for the 50th anniversary - was pricey, but wow, wow, wow. Not sure if you can find it anymore outside of e*bay (watch out for bootlegs), but the set was comprehensive, and you could play it while studying or driving and feel like you were walking around the park, including attractions that no longer exist.

I wish I was around to ride Alien Encounter... From what I heard that ride made Stich seem like It’s A Small World.

Never experienced the Stitch version...looks like I never will (isn't it closing permanently?) I rode Alien Encounter twice, I loved how completely audacious it was - in one sequence, with the lights out, a worker is up on the grid above you with a flash light, you hear him get attacked and he drops his flashlight, and then you're splattered from above with liquid (the implication is that it's the worker's blood). I laughed and laughed. Stuff like that was so over-the-top, I loved it...but...and this is what probably doomed the ride -- both times I experienced it, there was always at least one kid crying at the end as they exited.

I could answer this question 100 times and give 100 different answers... but for this go 'round, I'd choose the music from the Main Street Electrical Parade, the entire original version of the Country Bear Jamboree and.... hmm... let's go with the music from Soarin'... waaay too many to choose from!

If "Mlllenia score" you mean Tapestry of Nations, it's mine as well. Love hearing that play for the 20 minutes after Illuminations is over.

I'm a huge fan of the "Long, Pre-Recorded Spiel Era" that was a hallmark of Disney Parks through the early 1990s and which - unfortunately for me - has been going the way of the dodo ever since

A list of some of the best audio tracks in this category off the top of my head (most of which can be found on youtube):
Disneyland:
---Jack Wagner's Audio Tour for the Blind of Disneyland park;
---Jungle Cruise narrationby Thurl Ravenscroft;
---Any of the Mark Twain spiels;
---PotC by Thurl;
---Haunted Mansion;
---Mine Train through Nature's Wonderland (by the BTM guy)
---Danny Kaye's 25th DL Anniversary intro song; Railroad
---Great Moments with Lincoln
---Indiana Jones Adventure preshow

WDW General:
---Jack Wagner's 70s and 80s monorail spiel;
---1987 WDW monorail spiel (unknown voice artist who says the word "Lagoon" with a Hawiian accent - anyone know?)
---Original Electric Water Pageant soundtrack

Magic Kingdom:
---20,000 Leagues
---If you had Wings/Dreamflight;
---Original Country Bears
---Alien Encounter pre-show (tim curry);
---Liberty Belle; Peoplemover (90s or earlier version);
---CircleVision (magic carpet around the world- version);

EPCOT:
---Horizons;
---World of Motion;
---Spaceship Earth (Cronkite & Irons);
---Living Seas pre-show;
---Journey into Imagination (original);
---Maelstrom;
---American Adventure;
---Wonders of China
---80s/90s Version of Illuminations with classical music and songs from each country

Studios:
---Great Movie Ride (original version);
---Star Tours
---Tower of Terror

Animal Kingdom: Would love to find a pre-recorded professional version of the original Kilimanjaro Safaris (with poachers) spiel that may have been used for cast training.
