5: What do you love about WDW?!

1: Contemporary Resort: The rooms are amazing, I'm not too crazy about the bathroom door because it does not lock and it slides, but it's very nice. The view of the castle is the most beautiful, it has a very modern feel, the monorail just slides right through, so getting to the parks is easier.
2:EPCOT: I love Futureworld because I love the ideas of how the world will be like in the future. It's very beautiful and all the scenery fits, I love the Fountains and lights and Illuminations. (But all parks are wonderful!)
3: Spaceship Earth and Space Mountain: Space Mountain because it's dark and I love the thrill. SSE, same reason for EPCOT, the ideas about the future, and the video at the end is really cool with the touchscreen (Yes, I do miss the old finale)
4: My favorite restaurant is the Liberty Tavern in the Magic Kingdom because I love the family style, and I love turkey and mashed potatoes=]
5: I love how it's a very relaxing, after a fun day at the parks you can chill in the hotel room and watch some TV, even get a view of the fireworks depending in which hotel you stay in. It's part of my childhood and it's just amazing.

1: Favorite Resort+why

The only two resorts I've actually spent the night in was POP and ASMu. Out of the two I pick POP, hands down. As for the other resorts we've visited if we could afford it would be the GF (of course), but I would love to stay at Comtemporary, the WL, and the Beach Club.

2: Favorite Park+why

I love each park in their special way. I love MK because it's a classic. Cinderella's Castle is truly breathtaking. I love Epcot because of how huge the park is, and how you still haven't had much time exploring everything the park has to offer. I love AK because of it's "realistic" beauty. And seeing live animals roaming in a controlled but not caged environment is a plus. But DHS, DH and I always seem to have all luck in that park. The past two times we've got to open the parks, and get little extra magic. We had front row seats to Fantasmic!, and we also won YOMD Ultimate FP there, and a few other perks as well.

3: Favorite Attraction+why

My favorite attraction in each park are:
  • MK: HM, POTC, and SM.
  • Epcot: M:S
  • AK: EE
  • DHS: ToT, RnRc, ST, & TGMR.

4: Favorite Restaurant+why

MK: CRT
Epcot: Le Cellier and Marrakesh
AK: Y&Y
DHS: 50's PTC & SFDI

5: What do you love about WDW?!

It takes you to another world. It makes you forget your problems, and it's okay to act like a kid again. It feels like home.

1.Favorite resort- Boardwalk, there is just so much to do there and is in such a great location. (This may change soon when I stay at BLT)
2.Favorite park- I love them all for different reasons, but I would have to pick Epcot just because of how relaxing it can be.
3.Favorite attraction- I know it is not a specific attraction, but I can spend a whole day in world showcase and not feel rushed to do anything like in the other parks.
4.Favorite restaraunt- Ohana. Good food and a lot of it.
5. I love wdw because of all the great times and memories I had with my family growing up and my wife now. It is where I got married, had my honeymoon, and first anniversary

Cool thread!

1: Favorite Resort-The Polynesian! It's beautiful with a theming I personally love, great rooms, great shops and food, plus the monorail is a huge bonus. The whole atmosphere is great.

2: Favorite Park-Magic Kingdom! As another poster said, it's classic and I love that classic Disney feel. The characters, the classic rides, the music, everything. Plus, I love all the different theming of the lands while still being within 1 park. But I love each park, of course.

3: Favorite Attraction-Tower of Terror! For me, it's plain fun! But also it's one of the first rides that I remember being terrified of but gave it a shot anyway and found out I absolutely love it!

4: Favorite Restaurant-San Angel Inn! Some people really dislike this place but I love it. I've been going since I was a kid and I think I've eaten there at least once on every trip. The food is pretty good and the atmosphere is amazing.

5: What do you love about WDW?!-Wow what is there not to love? What does it for me is the fact that you are entirely immersed into this whole world where there is nothing but happiness and fantasy. It's the amazing experience of it all from the panning to actually going...can't wait to go back!

Resort - Stayed at so far: Polynesian. Beauty, location, theme.
Most looking forward to staying at (in March): Yacht club for location and pool.

Park - Magic Kingdom. Because it's magic and it's a kingdom. I think the name speaks for itself, really.

Attraction - Space Mountain. Because it's a classic attraction, though I do remember going in 1976 and it being the "new" ride. Reminds me of my childhood, and yet it's still thrilling to ride as a grown up.

Restaurant - Victoria and Albert's. It's an amazing food experience.

Love about WDW? - That it's a part of my childhood that I get to share with my kids; that everyone in my family loves it equally; that it's the only vacation destination where my DH can't drift into work mode during the day or at night (please disney, keep free internet OUT of the rooms!).

1: Favorite Resort- Well, I have not stayed on the property yet, so I can't say I have a favorite. I did walk through the Poly in 2008 and thought it was very nice. Would love to stay there in the future.

2: Favorite Park- Magic Kingdom...as mentioned numerous times, it's a classic! The best part of my trip is heading to MK for the first time and watching the pre-show.

3: Favorite Attraction- Splash Mountain. It's been my favorite since I was young. I would also through Tower of Terror and Everest into the mix as well.

4: Favorite Restaurant- I haven't really eaten at too many restaurants either but one place I really enjoyed on my last trip was the Big River Grille on the Boardwalk. We had a great meal after a really long day there...nice way to unwind after dealing with 13 other family members fighting throughout the day!

5: What do you love about WDW?!- For me, I love that I can get a way from everything else and just have some fun. Once you get there, or any Disney Park for that matter, the outside world disappears for a while and you get to be a kid again. Can't wait to head back over Christmas.

Favorite Resort + Why?

Although I have never actually stayed at the Boardwalk, it seems as if I have spent the most time there. It is in a great location, has great theming, and has a lot to do there.

Favorite Park + Why?

I am one of those typical old school Epcot fans. This was always my favorite park as a kid and always where we had to go first. However, in the last few years I would have to say Animal Kingdom. My wife and I really enjoy the atmosphere and many of the attractions there are among our favorite.

Favorite Attraction + Why?

Magic Kingdom - Splash Mountain. This to me is the essential Disney ride. Animatronics, great music, a great story, and thrills all mixed into one attraction.

Epcot - Test Track. This just barely beats out Spaceship Earth, possibly due to the fact that Test Track gets bashed a lot for some reason.

Disney's Hollywood Studios - The Twilight Zone Tower Of Terror. Talk about theming! Who knew that a drop ride could be so elaborate?

Disney's Animal Kingdom - It's Tough To Be A Bug! This is without a doubt the greatest 3-D film I have ever seen.

Favorite Restaurant + Why?

There are so many to choose from like Cinderella's Royal Table and Chef Mickey's, but I am going to go with Teppan Edo. The service is phenomenal and the food is always delicious. Yes, you can go to a similar restaurant all around Orlando, but this one provides you with the best overall experience.

What Do You Love About WDW?

It's everything I want in a vacation. It provides everyone with memories that will last a lifetime. Everytime I leave, I can't wait to go back.

1: Favorite Resort+why

Wilderness Lodge. Love the serene setting and the fact that it's kind of off to itself.

2: Favorite Park+why

Used to say MK, but as I'm getting older I find myself spending more time in Epcot. I simply love to spend an entire day in WS sampling all the food and sitting around people watching.

3: Favorite Attraction+why

HM has always been my favorite although I don't like the way cast members recently have been cramming people into the stretch rooms and queue area. I think it ruins much of the effect of the ride. Splash Mountain is a close second.

4: Favorite Resturant+why

I don't do full service restaurants much. Chefs de France has probably been my fave of the ones we've done, mostly because I love the French pavilion. I like Columbia Harbor House for counter service.

5: What do you love about WDW?!

The fact that no matter how bad life can get or no matter how stressful, it will always be there and it is pretty much the same wonderful welcoming place every time you go.

Resort: Wilderness Lodge. (Actually, I've never stayed at a Disney resort, but I have been inside 6 of them--Contemporary, Polynesian, Grand Floridian, Wilderness, Dolphin, & Boardwalk Inn.) If I were to stay in one, Wilderness Lodge would be my choice because of its atmosphere.

Park: Epcot. My nickname (EpScott) reflects this choice! I love the beauty of all of this park's architecture. World Showcase at night is simply awesome!!!

Ride: Test Track or Haunted Mansion. The Mansion is classic & timeless; Test Track is exhilarating. Pirates of the Caribbean, Big Thunder, Spaceship Earth, & Dinosaur also need mentioning here!!!

Restaurant: Pecos Bill's Tall Tale Cafe or Rainforest Cafe. It's pretty much fast food for me during my trips to WDW---Rainforest Cafe is about the most expensive restaurant that I visit whenever I'm there. I really enjoy the atmosphere in there. But I also love the theming in Pecos Bill's. Other great stops include Le Cellier, Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater, & Columbia Harbour House. I'll bet I would also really enjoy T-Rex from what I've seen just stepping inside the main entrance.

What do I love about WDW? The architecture and atmosphere----it's Utopia for me (oh----I'm sorry-----"Waltopia"!!!!!):)

5: What do you love about WDW?!-
Come on now, what is there not to love about WDW. I love the DVC, having a villa that feels like home not a hotel and could be move in ready. I love the smells, sounds and the total atmoshpere that lets my mind escape to another place besides my normal everyday life stresses.
