Its a tie between Illuminations: RoE - there are just no words to describe how amazing that show is...
However, my husband did propose to me during Wishes!, during the Beauty & The Beast Medley (my favorite movie of all time) with the fireworks in the shape of hearts So Wishes! will always have a special place in my heart (I can't even hear the music without crying like a baby lol)
I actually for the first time, on our last trip in November, watched Wishes and it literally brought a tear to my eye. I guess that is the one I would label as my favorite. It is amazing how on point the fireworks are with the narration of the story. The castle was dressed in christmas lights...when the show started the xmas lights faded away from top to bottom. After the show ended they put them back on and they faded from bottom to top...it was really cool.
Illuminations: ROE would come very close in second. That show is amazing.
Wishes makes me miss Disney the most because I worked at MK and heard it every night. But when I'm there I must see Fantasmic!! For a more romantic I like Illuminations because of who I've seen it with the last two times.
If I could only see one it would be Fantasmic. The finale gives me the "this is why I love Disney" feeling every time! Sometimes that includes tears.
I think Illuminations wins hands-down. I just love the whole concept and because of the lagoon it creates the theatre in the round setting that really helps to pull the whole thing off.:sohappy:
I think that illuminations is the best night time show because the music and the fireworks are just coordinated so well but i really like fantasmic too, especially when you see him at the end on top of the huge rock. That part makes me feel like i'm seeing sorcerer mickey for real everytime.
Has to be Illuminations! Feel it clear through my body every time! Didn't even realize how much I loved the music until we got our Photopass movie, and the Music was throughout the EPCOT portion. Wishes easy 2nd but closely followed by Fantasmic, unless we can count the movie at FW as a nightime show!
