For me, my vote goes to Big Thurder Mountain Railroad. Space Mountain a closer runner up. BTMRR just has a ton of memories for me and I love that when you are going up the first hill, you get a fabulous view of the park both at night and during the day. :) So lets see your vote and which mountain is you're favorite and why.

Big Thunder is number one for me followed by Everest. MK's Space Mountain would be my least favorite, but if you put DL's Space Mountain as an option, then it might be number one.

I have (sadly) never been to Disneyland. But I have heard great things about their SM so thats one of the first things I am going to do when I DO get the chance to go there.

God I love space so much! But thinking back, I feel the greatest "feelings" I get while boarding a ride is when I load up into a log flume at Splash, with my entire family, its rocking back and forth, you drop into the water, and you know your in for a long, song filled, soak-fest of delight. I just love the anticipation and feeling as you enter the mountain to songs, bright lights, and the "story" it tells.

Part of me wants to say Splash, and part of me wants to say Space. I ended up choosing Splash because of the back hallway they have at the queue in Space now. It just makes you feel cramped and its hot back there. Call me picky, but that was a deal breaker for me.

My vote had to go to Space Mountain. If I had to list them in order as to how I liked them it would be Space Mountain, Everest, Big Thunder Mountain, and then Splash Mountain. I think it's the darkness and not seeing what's in front of you that really makes Space Mtn such a favorite for me. I know EE has its dark moments (and backwards too, no less) but you can still see over the side in there and it kind of ruins the illusion for me a little whereas you don't get that in Space Mtn.

I had to go with big thunder. A few years back my answer might have been different. But, having visited in recent years when space, splash, and thunder were closed, thunder is the one I missed the most.

It's got great theming. Thrilling, but not so thrilling that you can't ride ten times in a row. And, it's a totally different ride from day to night.

Space. I rode it before Splash and Big Thunder were even built, so it really takes me back to childhood
Followed closely by Splash for the theming. Remember seeing Song of the South as a child with my Father.

I agree! We went towards the beginning of this year and it was closed for refurbs..totally bummed, went like the next month or 2 months after, STILL CLOSED. But, went in June and it was finally open and it was at night time. I really felt like a little kid at that moment and my fiance and I really realized how much we love BTMRR :)

I guess I would have to say BTMRR...my family rode it over & over on our last trip.
All my youngest son can talk about is riding it again next week.

It's like you don't realize how much you'd miss it until its gone, right? I knew I liked the ride a lot, but my trip just didn't feel right without it.

Oh definitely! We felt the same way. I honestly don't feel complete going to MK and not riding it.
