My favorite horror films are the classic, black & white, Universal ones. Such great atmosphere! I've lost my taste for any of the slasher films. Too much real horror in the news to be able to enjoy those.

Okay, so I finally watched Poltergeist and The Exorcist this weekend, and neither one was as scary as I was expecting? Of the two, Poltergeist was the one that made me jump more.

Idk about favorite but one of my top ones is Poltergeist, if anyone here went to HHN this year it was one of the BEST houses there and made me want to rewatch the film the minute I got home!

i’ve heard good things about this movie. initially had no interest in it, but then i heard the reviews it was getting. i’ll have to get around to it.
It's nothing terrifying! But it just works the plot is great and it has the spielberg wonder that makes so many of the projects he worked on shine!

Edit:
I got your response mixed up with poltergeist :banghead::banghead::banghead: my bad

I'm only 3.5 years late to this thread but better late than never. My favorite horror movie of all time is Insidious. It's the only movie that's really creeped me out, except for the last 15 minutes. They showed too much after that.

To be honest, I'm looking forward to the Child's Play Reboot with Aubrey Plaza and Brian Tyree Henry even though I still like to see what will happen to the adult Andy Barclay from the Cult of Chucky.
