Favorite Character Meal

Ok all...if you could only have one character meal your whole Disney trip, which would it be? Personally, I choose Chef Mickey's Hands Down. (going twice my upcoming vacation) I would love to hear what you all think.

I would say do Chef Mickey's, great food, and good characters. Cindy's has an AWESOME breakfast, but the characters aren't my favorite.

Mine is definitely the character breakfast at the Crystal Palace, because my favorite characters are there!! The food is good and the atmosphere is nice as well!!

I would say Hollywood and Vine, but since its not a choice, I'll say the Garden Grille at the Land

I am so glad I am hearing all these positive opinions about Hollywood and Vine. As I said in a previous reply, I just booked for Sat. 10/5/02 for lunch . We didn't know about the place our last trip. Can't wait to try it out now ... Sorry it wasn't included in the poll....It obviously would have kicked some Chef Mickey butt!! LOL...It's still my favorite (Chef Mickey's) , as of now anyway) I still wish there was a Villian Character Meal...I want my picture with Hades and he's not out like he use to be. I know he's in the Stars parade in MGM. I wonder how difficult it would be for a photo opp. Thanks for all the replies guys. I love coming to this site for my daily Disney "fix". You guys are great.:sohappy:

sadly, Hades was never in it. MK staffed it, and they never had Hades out there, except for Halloween parade. As for difficulty, i'd say impossible, since the car drivers aren't allowed to stop except for emergencies(these aren't real cars.. they were at one time, but now they're parade floats dressed like old cars

He's not in the parade???? Now that just sucks.. I saw the clip on the Disney site and thought he was in the car with the fire on the side. I even saw pictures on another site and he was at the end....Man....I am bummed. Oh well....Maybe they will have a Hades T-shirt in the Villian shop..They still have a Villian shop right? I hope so. That would put a damper on the trip...Not really a damper, but I want something with my favorite Disney character on it. They really don't pay enough attention to the Villians...The shop is still there right? Anyone?

Breakfast at Crystal Palace is our favourite - good food and service plus great characters. Garden grill for dinner is a close second.

We're eating at both on our next visit.

Chef Mickey's is my choice. Chip and Dale were our favorites - Chip poured our coffee, and Dale mutilated my Mickey waffle (we deducted that he wanted them to make Dale waffles instead!). A little girl was so excited to see Mickey that she bumped her head on the table and started crying...Mickey sat down on the booth seat and placed her on his lap. He stayed with her until she stopped crying...very sweet!

I like the Garden Grill the best because you get to see the Characters while seeing part of Living with the Land. Another cool feature is your never in one spot.

Two of my favorite places aren't on the list.

Hollywood and Vine for lunch (breakfast isn't too bad either) and 1900 Park Fare for Breakfast. 1900 Park Fare, I'm not real big on the characters (but I like the Mad Hatter), but the omlets are great.

I voted for Liberty Tree Tavern. It's excellent for dinner.

Not at any of the Disney parks anymore, but for characters and atmosphere, I enjoyed the Soundstage Restaurant that use to be where Playhouse Disney is at MGM.
