So I posted this a few years ago... But I just wanted to bring it up again considering there are more people on the forums now and there is a poll option.

Which animatronic show in WDW is your favorite? Existing and non existing!

I am personally a huge fan of both Cranium Command and Food Rocks... I have hard time deciding between the two. Today, I'm feelin' the need for "good nutrition!"

Sorry if I have left any out in the poll!

Smaller options... Either not technically classified as a AA show or are not a stand-alone attraction..

*Sonny Eclipse
*The Bird & Robot Show
*Stitch's Great Escape
*ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter

The American Adventure. It's the kind of elaborate, theatrical animatronic experience I like best about Disney parks. The scope (visual, technical and conceptional) is incredible and the writing is surprisingly reserved for what could have been an over-the-top patriotic production. The music is also very well done.

Sadly, it's also the kind of thing Disney will never do again, but at least it's still well preserved and available to see.

I agree! It is also awesomely technologically advanced with each seen starting out from under the audience then moving forwards and upwards onto the stage!

I do wish they would do a massive upgrade on the audio... Last time I experienced this, I had a hard time understanding some of the "actors" because the sound is a bit fuzzy..

Agree 100%, though I really wish they'd upgrade all the projection to digital. Removing the film grain and "wobble" would dramatically improve the illusion of using projection as backdrop.

I'm just really bummed out that I'll never get to experience "Meet the World", which was arguably the spiritual sequel to American Adventure.

I think my favourites are probably the ones within the rides i.e. splash mountain, POTC etc

I've always thought that it would interesting to see those attractions in the form of a show... Like Pirates, Splash and the Haunted Mansion

That looks awesome. I believe that was planned for the Japan pavilion at one time. Would have been a great addition.

Indeed it was, but however, Disney feared that the un-emphasized politically sensitive issues (i;e describing WWII as "dark days") would offend people, notably American veterans and other groups.

American adventure is hands down the most elaborate, detailed and jaw dropping AA show ever created. So many people don't even know it exists and some that do, for some unexplainable reason, do not truly appreciate what they are seeing.

It always amuses me when the guy explains that you are about to inside a 1,000 seats auditorium to the 20 guests in front of him.

I'm loving all of the support for Carousel of Progress! I just wish it wasn't so neglected... I personally wish they would move it back to Disneyland JUST because of the thought that it would be kept up better there and a bit more appreciated by management.
