Favorite (and best) queue?

If you're going to bring Uni into the mix, I'd have to say the FJ queue is quite spectacular, but at Disney, I'd have to go with TOT, Star Tours and Everest. Haven't experienced Little Mermaid yet. From what I've read it must be pretty good. So unfortunate the ride apparently doesn't live up to the hype of the queue.

I get annoyed with myself for rushing past it all but I'm so eager to get to the attraction! One day I'll learn to ease up and take it all in..... But I doubt I will!
Same here!!! When I'm not in line, im all like lets look at the queues, but in line, i get so rushy and want to get on so badly!!

What about international parks? I've heard it said that JCE at Disney Sea has one of the best queues. People recommend not getting FP, because the queue is such a part of the experience, you don't want to bypass it. Can anyone vouch for this who's been in person?
I've actually never even seen a pov, so I wonder how great it is!:)

Btw, @Le Petomane, welcome to WDWmagic, i noticed you signed on not too long ago!

All this thinking of queues makes you realize how the rides starts before you are even on it, I love the anticipation and environmental change that happens in a well done queue

It really does become part of the ride...some more than others. Sometimes it is hard to draw the line between queue and ride besides obviously entering the ride vehicle. That is why TLM is (in my mind) such a letdown. The queue sets you up for so much more than the ride delivers.

I am surprised to see lack of love for the HM queue here...

The best themed queue has to be ToT's, but my favorite queue is tie between HM and POTC.

Nothing beats that eerie feeling before you hop on board a Doombuggy or a bateau.

There's also that distinct smell in POTC that always strikes me!

It's the smell of adventure (or mildew), whichever you prefer...

I like the haunted mansion queue now it has all the interactive features.we saw them for the first time last summer and got far too excited as the organ is branded with the name Ravenscroft, which is my boyfriends surname so there were many pictures of us excitedly pointing to it haha.
Also love ToT for the amount of detail, it sets the scene for the ride perfectly.

I have three of them

1) POTC
2) Mission: Space- all the cool high tech lookin' stuff
3) Splash Mountain

But my favorite over all would have to be Pirates. Why? It's indoors, it's nice and cool, the smell of nostalgia (or mildew as catfury said) and the overall detail of the ride itself
