Well this is good news. I know they're not gonna up and quit the system after spending so much money on it, but hopefully they found a clue and realized they should have kept things they way they were.

Looks like that billon dollar+ project was totally worth it, You know i was eating at AoA the other weekend and i noticed there were disposable rfid chips on the bottom of the disposable cups. Great use of money instead of a new attraction :bored: I dont get it, the soda syrup and supplies they get from coke has to be near pennies on the dollar does a extra soda or 2 in a disposable cup really make that much of a difference to the bottom line?

I used to work in a restaurant and our GM used to tell us not to hassle people that ask for a water and get a pop instead since it wasn't worth the trouble since the cost was minimal. I probably wouldn't care too much about the RFID mugs overall if they didn't put a friggin time limit between refills. Want to take a sip of cherry coke and then fill up with a diet coke? You can't! (or maybe you can, but I didn't want to try and have to stick around!)

In theory it is supposed to measure the volume of soda dispensed by the machine. So you could get your 1oz of Cherry coke and then 15oz (if its a 16oz pour) of root beer.

Someone did a cockamamie spreadsheet with the assumption that everyone who stole soda would buy one with the controls slapped on and the rest is history. Management by PowerPoint

This is just silly. All that money spent on this system it should be flawless by now, not having major issues like this. It's actually pretty sad and pathetic to be honest.

How do you feel about the tickets at the front gate? Those would go down from time to time too... same fallback there too.. let people in rather than turn them away.

I was able to mix cherry coke with diet coke when we were there in October without any delay in dispensing.
