FastPass+ Chaos at MK today

If everything is fastpass then everything is standby. Pretty much the default for the MK for thirty years.

Not quite. I doubt that everyone has clued in to this. Some people wouldn't even think to try to see if it worked and others never use FP.

same thing happened at hollywood studios yesterday. couldn't change any of my fastpass times at all. They gave me 1 fast to make up for it. Suffice to say, guest relations got an earful from me about the state of the current fastpass sytem!

I was at MK yesterday and didn't clue in to this. I should have been checked this site like I normally do. The wait times were insane, so we only rode a couple of things we got FP+ for at the kiosk and then left. Even the PeopleMover had a huge queue.

Maybe Disney needs to just adopt what Uni does. And just charge for the FP and they can control how many they allow per day. Then there is two options. Ride once, or unlimited.

Heck my one day park to park with Uni in may with express pass is $225 for ONE day... So Disney would still be cheaper. lol

According to the UNI website this evening, a park-to-park one day ticket with unlimited Express Pass is $189.

That is correct, but then you have to add in what day you are actually going and the cheap days are not too often. Then with tax it came to $224 and change, we were SOOO not thinking it would actually be that much... I was shocked!

Same thing happened to us yesterday. In fact, a week or two ago, we went to get into the Fastpass line and they told us we didn't have any Fastpasses. Had to bring up the app to show them, which of course is the slowest loading app so everything grinds to a halt while I have to load my Fastpass as proof. Happened yesterday too, then we were told about the "technical difficulties" when we went for our 4th Fastpass at the kiosk. 1 Fastpass - all Magicbands in the party had to be present at the kiosk, and we could only get 1 Fastpass and could not change the time or attraction if we changed our minds. Such a great way to make vacation planning easier, right?

And don't get me started on when I reached the limit on days I can book because of limitations. Have dinner reservations 1 day and 2 weekends (in which we're staying 2 nights) while my wife's and my parents are in town in the next few months, but too many days for the system to allow.

The point is, you never see a 20 minute line just to check into fastpass. Read before u critique.
