Let's not talk about implementation yet. We don't even know if it's going to happen. Even so, I'm sure that WDI will implement any changes so they don't negatively affect guests.

By the way... someone was complaining a few days ago that they were pushed out of the park because EMH was going to start. They were complaining that offsite guests don't get the same park time as onsite. So, yes, EMH has had complaints.

well thats their problem and i have no sympathy for them. extra time im perfectly fine with because it doesnt interfere with my day expecially since i know im gonna be pushed out of the park

I could say the same... I have no sympathy for those complaining about fastpasses because I know I will get the level of fastpass based on the resort I'm staying in.

Basing FASTPASS perks on hotel choice is specifically mentioned in Disney's latest patents, from earlier this year.

And? Disney has also patented Beastly Kingdom. Doesn't mean it will happen. Just that it could.

except this goes one step further from rewarding people who spend the extra dollar. it punishes the people who dont

No it does not. Are people who stay in the AllStars punished because the value resorts dont offer say, a spa, or a golf pro shop, no, they are not. They elect to spend a certain amount of money on lodging and services associated with lodging. Fastpass tied in to resorts would be another service choice that people would make when choosing where to stay.

So, if I put my Annual Pass in the fast pass machine, they will know where I'm staying? What happens if the park goes off-line, like one day last week at DAK? Will they have different Fastpass Key Cards for each level of resort at each Fastpass area (and have the resort codes for the CMs to check which one to give out to each guest, based on their room key)?

yet again. none of the things offered to deluxe resort guests affects the experience of value resort guests. this proposed fastpass system would by making lines longer and less fastpasses available to nonresort guests.

No, they will put those little covers on the machine with a sign that says "out of order". Then everyone waits in line.

It's not been confirmed... It's not been implemented... we don't know the specs...

You can't make such claims at this time.

I would assume that when they say unlimited that is not true. I would think maybe you can get one per ride per hour as now but get more rides within the hour. I don't think you can just keep feeding your card into the machine and get Splash Mountain after Spash Mountain after Splash Mountain. I don't know but I think that would not be the case.

How can you say that there is no difference in staying at a Value Resort and staying at a Moderate or Deluxe? There are tons of differences.

1. Deluxe and Moderate resorts are more visibly pleasing.
2. Deluxe and Moderate resorts offer more dining options.
3. Deluxe and Moderate resorts offer Conceirge (sp?) services.
4. Show me a Value Resort that has a character meal experience.
5. Deluxe resorts are on the Monorail line. Values are on the bus line.
6. Deluxe and Moderate resort rooms are larger than Value Resorts.

These are just a few. You can not reasonably say that there is no difference between value and deluxe.

I don't think it would be unlimited either... nobody knows how it MAY work EVEN IF it's implemented.

Point out where i said "theres no difference between value and moderate or deluxe" why dont you

i said that the amenities deluxe resort guests are offered doesnt take away from the experience of the guests in less expensive resorts. DONT put words in my mouth

The Boardwalk Inn, Yacht and Beach Club resorts are Deluxe resorts, not on the Monorail line.

You posted "none of the things offered to deluxe resort guests affects the experience of value resort guests". This is not a true statement. Things offered at Deluxe resorts do affect value resorts, as they are not available at value resorts, therefore, not available to value resort guests. This would be why it would be reasonable to accept a Fastpass based tie in to resorts, as there are other things already available at Deluxe resorts that are not available to Value resorts"

I appoligize for offending you by not using the exact correct words.....and will not be a part of you trying to pick a fight.

Unlimited is way to well, limitless.

It would cause machines to sell out too fast and then not be of use anyway. I think that IF (as you said, there is nothing saying it will happen) there is an anhancement it won't be such a big deal.
