I dont think Ive ever implied that I go leave the line and go ride other rides while my party stood in a seperate line. I see people line jump all the time, I dont stop them, you dont stop them so what are YOU going to do about it, besides complain and say "it isnt right." Nobody knows the reason why people line jump, but the person doing it. My thing on line holding is Ill go single ride a single ride attraction like TT or EE, while my dad stands in the regular line, I find him and I ride two times. Thats how I do, if you dont like, tough, does that mean Im going to stop. It doesnt take a genius to figure the answer to that out. Is it right, to many no.

OK after reading this and replying to it, back on your ignore list I go. :cry: Heck nah.:rolleyes:

If people aren't checking dates then it's that individual's fault for not doing their job. As it states on the back of the fastpass, "Valid for day of issue only." I can tell you not one old date has slipped by me. That's not was the system is used for - it's meant to reserve your spot in line THAT DAY and that day only. If you're coming back late, you're just throwing the system off and that's why that standby time goes from 45 to 60 to 90 to 115 and so on.

That's not what we have heard by other CM's from this forum. If indeed you are correct, then I am wrong. But all we have ever heard from CM's is that they are told to let people in after the first time on the FP has passed.

Think those who want to use a FP "late" (expired, in the same day) will clog the FP Return queues?

Here are some FP numbers to play with.

Let's assume a given of 100 FP Distributed for Big Thunder Mountain.

50 will be used at the beginning (within the first 5 minutes) of the Return Time "window."

25 will be used at some later time, but still within in the specified Return Time "window."

15 will be used outside (later than) the specified Return Time "window."

10 will be pocketed and never used (guests got busy elsewhere, left the park, etc.)

Those not ever using FP and those using FP outside the window (late) can virtually cancel-out each other in the FP waiting-line.

Jockey any of those numbers a bit, if you like, but they should be very close.

The FP system works very well, and with proper "policing" by CM's (if the FP lines do get "too long" during a busy run-like Soarin' or EE- they can refuse a "late" FP at that time) the lines move along quite nicely.

CM's have always had the right to ask you why you're late for a FP return time. They should not just assume you're abusing the system or scamming or something.

Your responsbility, is to have a good reason for being late. Something that was Disney's doing - they'll let you in (and if it's because "small world" broke down and the dolls wouldn't stop singing, they'll probably give you a hug), or an honest error and you're probably good to go.

I didn't feel like it, I thought I could use these anytime, they let me do this yesterday, what do you mean it's not 2005? Probably wont get you in.

Most likely CMs just dont want "the fight" people most likely put up when being told they cannot use the fastpass after it has expired.

There used to be a guy at RnRC like that. Can't remember his name, but he was definitely on a power trip.

We were turned away at Soarin' this past August - the CM was really nasty! Before that, we never had a problem - but we will never try it again! It was so embarrassing!!!!
