That's true. I would say it started with The Simpsons Ride.
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and suggest that they're talking about Fast & Furious: Supercharged.

Thanks, that would explain it. I am probably going to get crunched again. Going to Universal in May.
I'm not sure, but after all the backlash F&F will get, I hope some execs are shifted around/removed. It doesn't make any sense at all, it wasn't a cheap project by any means. Some execs must be vastly out of touch with what makes a good theme park attraction, or they simply don't care because "people keep eating these things up so let's just give them more of the same." Well, hopefully this is the nail in the coffin.

Well they've never had the best success with their in-house animatronics, and with the stronger ties to Disney it could be that Garner Holt isn't offering them competitive bids.
They could continue to work with Creature Technology, who did Kong.
Is the big WARNING! referring to the ride, or the wait time?

Universal's social media accounts have announced that the ride is now open. I guess they nixed doing any sort of grand opening fanfare? (I wouldn't blame them)

Even Race Through New York had its opening date announced nearly four months in advance. They even could have announced a future grand opening date with something like “extended previews” starting today.

I was ride shamed at Universal riding F&F Supercharged...
Please the ride is great at what it’s supposed to be, a people eater just like Kong. Not the best ride ever but it blows away the Pandora “boat” ride.

Better than NRJ, but I hope so since this is E-Ticket Level. Fallon is a fun ride and queue/shows are a good tribute and isn't an E-Ticket that takes itself too seriously. But F&F just comes off as just confusing and weird and counter to expectations.
