Fantasyland / Tomorrowland Seque?

In trying to think of anything that could smooth over the Fantasy/Tomorrowland transition, the first thing to come to mind is Figment. He bridges the gap between cartoonish fun and science pretty well. Too bad he's in another park.

how about putting a wall up. On one side its themed as fantasyland with an opening with Tink preforming magic to get to the future(tomorrowland) and on the other side comming from tomorrowland have it themed as a time portal to the past(fantasyland)

I actually like this idea but the wall would be going through a very tight space on a path that ultimately winds up on a bridge leading back to the hub.

Instead of a wall, why don't they have a little landscaped median in the center of a path, similar to the path from Future World to World Showcase at Epcot, with taller trees and lower shrubs to hide what's on the other side?

That's...actually kinda cool. After I read the first sentence of your post, I didn't have much hope for what was to follow.

That really is a good idea.

Too bad they won't do it because they didn't think of it.

The transition between the two lands has always bothered me. However with the Fantasy Forest plan I think there is a way to make the transition much more smooth. How about having the fantasyland forest slowly transform into a futuristic forest? Have the trees slowly become more trimmed and shaped kind of like how they do it at the speedway in Hong Kong. So when you move into Tomorrowland the trees are all strange shapes and sizes.

It has always bothered me also and I had been thinking along those lines as well. In my thoughts, what I had pictured was a transition zone of topiaries like those in Sleeping Beauty....fanciful and stylized but still somewhat linearly sculpted gradually leading into the more sleek, futuristic Tomorrowland topiaries that are there now in front of the speedway.

^ honestly, i kinda like tokyos entrance to Tomorrowland, but only because Space Mountain is in the dead center and its a correctly placed "weenie"

Anyway, I actually like the wall idea. I've been thinkin about a double-sided wall for that spot long before i joined this forum. However, the "Tink transporting you doesnt really seem so neccessary, but i suppose since theres no PH it seems fair(y)

Mad Tea Party is (from Google Earth) basically in the center. Makes me wonder who was in charge of placement in the 60's-70s. It is possible to make that whole stretch part of fantasyland and giving Cosmic Ray's those video windows. Then change the facade of CR on that side to resemble somethin fantasy-like. Then there needs to be some way to make those autopia cars quiet! the Walls would go right where MTP and CRs face eachother
