Every time I start to watch Fellowship of the Ring, I think this is going to be a long walk. Why not just get the Eagles to fly him to Mordor and drop the ring in from above?

When was there a 3D screening of Fellowship of the Ring? The Hobbit movies, yes. Lord of the Rings, no.
