Rumor Fantasyland Expansion

Could @GiveMeTheMusic or @marni1971 shed some light on this situation? It sounds too good to be true. But I'm wont to take any rumor seriously, regardless of how ludicrous it may be.

We thought that the overhaul of the Tower of Terror was ludicrous, but it happened anyway. We thought the overhaul of the auction scene in Pirates was ludicrous, but again, that happened anyway. So any rumor that sounds too good to be true may not be.

In any case, wow! First, the alleged removal of the Pinocchio/Snow White area for Beauty and the Beast, then the alleged overhaul of all of Tomorrowland to accommodate a Fantasyland expansion, and now this! There are so many rumors for Disneyland now that any one of them could be announced at D23!

Do you understand what the phrase “too good to be true” means?

It's a Small World remains one of Disneyland's most popular and busy attractions. It's nearly always crowded, it's one of the most efficient crowd-eaters in the park and is beloved by millions and millions across several generations.
To suggest that DL would get rid of one of its most popular, famous, beloved and iconic attractions (not to mention one of the prettiest and most "Disney" ride exteriors in the park) is clickbait nonsense.

Oh so you’d like for IASW to go away and were happy with the auction scene and TOT changes?

No, I don't want it to go away. At all. I'm just saying that the rumors seem too outlandish to be real, but there have been outlandish rumors before that did happen, even though we hoped against hope that they were untrue.

The auction scene wasn't that bad (and it's kind of understandable why they did it), but it replaced some classic dialogue from a classic performer, and the Tower of Terror replacement turned out better than expected. But when they go after classic attractions like Small World, that really rubs me the wrong way.

My point is, there have been outlandish rumors before that seemed unrealistic, but turned out to be not so unrealistic.

Ok so you are using “too good to be true” incorrectly. That would mean that you would like the outcome of the IASW rumor to be true. Or in other words that it sounds so good that it would never happen.

Agreed. I would welcome some interior upgrades though.

But I don't want it to be the outcome to be true. What would be a better phrase then?

But what if they're not crazy? After all, we thought they were crazy in the past, and the joke, in the end, was on us.
If Bob Chapek is in any way shape or form "serious" about wrapping It's a Small World up in a box with a pretty bow on top with the intention of then loading said box with a pretty bow on top onto a freighter bound for Japan... I will eat cut up my annual pass live on YouTube.
