But you know what made Walt Disney different? He was a creator who wanted to share his ideas with the world. All through his life, he kept risking *everything* on projects he believed in. Money, for him, meant one thing, mainly: Funds to create more films, then money to build and expand Disneyland, then money for the Florida project. He genuinely LOVED Disneyland. It wasn't a career move. It wasn't a notch in his belt. It wasn't part of an empire. It was his playground.The ideological remembrance of Walt Disney is great (although the truth is he was just as much a cut-throat capitalist as anybody).
But the fact is, neither his parks, nor anybody else's would exist if they weren't returning value to shareholders.

And, yeah, he named it after himself, but if you put "Land" at the end of your last name and it sounded that great, wouldn't *you*?
