This makes sense with the impending weather issues
It makes sense period! F! just opened Nov 3rd!!!! Why DHS didn't do this till after Thanksgiving I don't get! Would be interesting to know what determines a second F!......
Hoping for a dry F! and MVMCP tomorrow night!!!

Well, in theory they should have the data between park reservations, historical hoping to DHS rates, and % of DHS guests that typically go to see F! to know if one show is sufficient or not
But probably not that scientific

I wouldn't count on any show Thursday. Wednesday and Friday depend on how far rain bands stretch out.

The new hero segment is meant to focus on the struggles of being a hero. That’s why the “One Jump Ahead (Reprise)” was included. It showcases Aladdin’s struggles with identity and acceptance.
Each portion featured the hero’s struggle to become or remain heroic. They each were chosen as they all struggle with identity and acceptance.

The issue with that is you cannot showcase that in in 20-30 seconds. Lol. It's just confusing.
Thats why Pocahontas's original scene worked so well. It had enough time for you to figure out what was going on, and why we needed to appreciate her.

They assume we’ve seen the films…like the remainder of the show does. You won’t know who Frollo is if you haven’t seen Hunchback.
I would argue, on the contrary, however, the specific song segments show this theme clearly. The two reprises, “Show Yourself”, “Just Around the Riverbend”, and the Milan training segment are specifically about identity struggles.
Makes perfect sense that Frozen 2's Show Yourself would be a part of that.

Honestly, I’m pleased the focus stayed on ‘90s films. 3 of the 5 additions are from ‘90s “classics” (I feel old calling them that).
But it is a lot more obvious that they are villains, and they are there to sabotage the dream.

I wish the order of the heroes was swapped a bit. The “One Jump Ahead” reprise would have flowed so nicely into the princess medley.
And I don't think it is executed very well.
It's just a dump ground.

That’s valid. I was just confused by you disagreeing that the heroes deal with those issues when they do.And I don't think it is executed very well.
I disagree that those songs show those issues clearly within this segment of the show.

First show (11/7 8pm):
- Rafiki was back today! Something I forgot to note yesterday was the Old Hag wasn't also present, Evil Queen did the quick change for it.
- Snake headlights worked.
- Steamboat pyro pinwheels all spun!
- Full show. Started raining a bit apparently but stopped.

I enjoyed the 8pm show with my family. Leaving nothing to chance we headed in before 630 and we're among the first group in. We had great seats front left about 5th row no obstructions. The final edge sections didn't fill in until about 745. Didn't know the theater had its own restroom up top and concessions in several places.
My kids absolutely loved the show and I have to say it exceeded my wife and even my own expectations too. It did sprinkle and mist for 5 min twice but thankfully that lifted. It was quite windy at times as afternoon gave way to evening and it crossed my mind the show could be canceled. In fact at one point the 930 showing disappeared from my app. Leaving the park, I saw the queue for 930 show lined up. So glad I was able to do this.
