Honest question why not use the crystal castle float? I assume it’s kept in good condition as its used during MVMCP and first time guests would assume the float is part of the parade as its a large float that is a castle. All they would have to do is have it not decorated during the Christmas months and they’re good to go.

They could then have Anna and Elsa on the Gazebo and kee the princesses and their princes spread throughout the castle float making it look intentional

Perhaps cost cutting as it requires a higher level (thus more expensive) driver than the gazebo float, plus spotters.

What is the main reason for running FoF twice? If it’s because they feel they need to keep guests entertained? I mean the fix to that would be to not run FoF or any daytime parade twice but go back to a separate parade at night. Like they used to and things seemed fine.
Or another idea is to spread out FoFs times more to allow more maintenance time or whatever is needed in between performances.

Yes
I mean I don’t think running FoF twice a day should have anything to do with floats breaking down. There’s plenty of hours in the day to do maintenance on them whether your running the parade one, two or even four times a day.
Again, not when the replacement parts are no longer manufactured. They do what they can, but it’s not all possible anymore. Especially in regards to the two floats acquired from Tokyo.

True, but people were blaming its deterioration on the parade running twice a day over once.

For most businesses this would suggest they need to invest in a new product. But for Disney as of late they’ll just keep running it to save a few pennies.

That's better for fan service, but you have one set of floats to use/store/maintain, one set of routines/choreography to train cast members on, and can have the same people perform both shows since they're only a few hours apart.

If a nighttime parade is coming, which it seems like it might be, they want that to bring in more guests and more revenue to support it. The demand is there now for two daytime parades, and I'm glad they are at least giving us that.

I agree! Although I wonder where the demand was when MSEP left? FOF looks good Twice a Day in MK!!!!!! Of course, it would look better with all Floats and Cast..........

No princes today on the gazebo float. It was really cluttered when they were all on there, so maybe this is for the better (in the meantime).
