Well this is interesting..
The side fountains finally returned last night (2/11) since they were last seen/turned on around Dec 4 '22, but then they were immediately turned off for the rest of the show, didnt even last 10 seconds. They also never turned on for the second show either.

Guess they weren't meant to be switched on at all, oops lol..

Decided to look at a stream from tonight, weird enough, the side fountains were on, but only for the opening sequence. After that gone again.

Okay caught a stream tonight, no side fountains at all (for the 10:30 show at least).

I am starting to think they are using some sort of manual override to keep them off, and missed it during yesterdays show, and got them turned off again after the first number?

Weird.

The side fountains returned tonight, and they stayed on for the entire show! But they weren't "dancing" like the OP mistakenly said. But progress regardless!

Edit: these static side fountains are not used in Wondrous Journeys. They probably didn't bother to program them for the show..

Hungry Bear in Critter Country will be selling Fantasmic seat cushions. These were previously included with the Fantasmic Dining Package at Blue Bayou

During the 10:30pm performance of Fantasmic on April 22nd, Murphy caught fire (and at the time of posting is still on fire). SOURCE: theme park detective on YouTube.

Murphy caught fire once the pyro was set off (once mickey starts to "destroy" her) - A few seconds before, you can see fluid (presumably the ignitor fluid used to shoot the giant fireball or possibly hydraulic fluid) leaking from the neck and running down the dragon's mouth. Once the pyro is set off, the fire starts on the neck and spreads, eventually engulfing the entire animatronic.
