I can hear the stampeding herd of Expo goers now....rushing over to the Park to get a look.
'Moooo'....
Heaven help anyone there that night.
It is going to be utter chaos
Utter or udder?

You couldn't pay me enough to be there that night.
Disney Parks Blog does a truly horrible job of being a PR outlet. They get things wrong and even announce new things after they've debuted. Still waiting for a post about StoryMaker. Meanwhile the official press release (wdwnews) site barely gets any updates.
Half the Disney blogs would shut down if Disney themselves did a good job of cataloguing what's happening in the parks.
The Disney Parks Blog was never great, but it has really gone downhill in the last couple years. I'm now of the opinion the Parks Blog concept is managed by sugar-addicted monkeys and staffed with cubicle farm idiots who mention their MBA in every fourth sentence.
A quick scan right now of the Disneyland Resort news shows that in the last week there have been ten (10) articles about Disneyland. https://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/destinations/disneyland-resort/
Five (5) of those articles are about food, and all of them are literally coated in sugar. Three (3) articles are about trinkets and merchandise for sale. One article is the "weekly recap" of all the articles about sugary food and plastic junk for sale. And the single remaining article in the past week is a two minute video about the new-ish Circle D Ranch that opened up a few months ago for the Disneyland horses. With the exception of the Circle D video, which is nicely done, all of the rest of it is mindless pablum that only a desperately bored person would find interesting.
And this is during a time when a massive Star Wars Land project is in active construction, a brand new Fantasmic! has been rehearsing for weeks and is days away from debuting, and monumental new changes to iconic Disneyland rides like the Railroad and the Rivers of America are wrapping up with Imagineering detail work that would be fascinating to see up close.
But who cares about that construction and rehearsal stuff... have we told you about the t-shirts we are selling and the sugar-coated-sugar we are using on deluxe churros now?
No, it doesn't.I'm addicted to Disney news, and I always forget to check the Disney Parks Blog, that says a lot doesn't it?

Captain Snarky for the win.Me too. I hadn't checked it in weeks when I went to go look at it just now, and learned that in the last week I'd missed five stories about sugary snacks and three stories about Chinese-made trinkets and t-shirts.

Disney Parks Blog in a nutshellMe too. I hadn't checked it in weeks when I went to go look at it just now, and learned that in the last week I'd missed five stories about sugary snacks and three stories about Chinese-made trinkets and t-shirts.
Disney Parks Blog in a nutshell
90% merchandise
50% food
15% actual park news
I can hear the stampeding herd of Expo goers now....rushing over to the Park to get a look.

It is going to be utter chaos attendence wise with every Local APer, blogger, Twit, and Expo attendee packing the place to 'be the first' to see it.
I'll just sit here in my comfy chair with my popcorn and watch it all go down from 3,000 miles away.

That's what happens when you put a merchandise guy in charge of the parks. The Disney Parks Blog was never great, but it has really gone downhill in the last couple years. MBAs? More like Communications majors from for-profit universities who have never been to disneyland since they started working at TDA because they don't want to sweat through the one business casual outfit they wear every single day.
I thought Lou FullofJello died years ago.I bet Lou Mongello (of wdwradio) is reading those articles since he always talks about food.
