Fantasia or Winter Summerland?

It all depends on your mindset. If you want a challenging classy miniature golf course then Fantasia should be your choice. If you want over the top Disney themed goofy golf then Winter Summerland will be the best choice.

ohhh...speaking of transportation...do buses take you the mini golf like to the water parks? Or do you have to find your own way?

Fantasia Gardens, I love the movie and the coarse has a more "Disney" theme compared to Winter Summer Land IMO.

You can take a bus to the Swan and get to Fantasia Gardens.

I love wintersummerland crazy golf, I find that the winter course is the easiest out of the winter and summer course and fantasia gardens. Although if you want to play one with a more disney theme then fantasia is the one to play as wintersummerland doesn't really have much of a disney theme or play all of them like we do lol.

Oh you gave us another idea of something we can do as a family. What are the hours for the mini golf courses? Are they open during the day? We have some non park days while there since we are staying 7 nights and the armed forces tickets are for 5 days.

Both courses are open from 10 AM to 11PM. Cost is currently $11.75 Adult/ $9.75 for kids ages 9-3.

Remeber to keep the receipt as if you play one later that day or the following day you get it half price but you have to show them the receipt of the previous full price round. We did this and we even managed to use the smae receipt tice as my dad got the wrong one out as we played it a lot, lol we came home with about 30 odd golf balls that you get at the end and the same amount of mini sharpies.

Fantasia has two VERY different courses. Fantasia Fairways has sand, and lots of contour to the holes, and it is very challenging. The theming isn't in the normal kinds of mini-golf obstacles, but instead in the design of the putting surface itself. Fantasia Gardens is your traditional mini-golf course with the obstacles themed to Fantasia.
Winter Summerland's theme meshes with Blizzard Beach, which is right next to it. There are two courses, both traditional mini-golf obstacles.
As for a choice, I like the music at Winter Summerland, and I prefer the traditional mini-golf over the Fantasia Fairways course.
Transport is a little tough. For Fantasia, bus to Swan/Dolphin, which you have to catch from a park or DtD, and then about a 5 minute walk. For Winter/Summer, bus to Blizzard Beach and you're right there. If BB is closed, you can bus to All-Star Sports or Coronado Springs and walk along a paved trail, but it'll be about 12-15 minutes from either. It is possible that buses to DAK or the nearby resorts would stop at Winter/Summer if you ask.

Fantasia wins it for me. The added benefit is that after playing your round in the hot sun, you can meander over to the boardwalk and head around to Beaches And Cream for some lovely cool treats. My son loves the Mickey Sundae.

Thanks for that tip. I haven't been to the book store yet. I was waiting till Christmas and my kids bdays were over. I'll look for the book sometime in the end of Feb.
