Fan's Guide to WDW--Episode #1

The first episode is about a husband and wife from West Lafayette, IN (about 70 miles northwest of Indianapolis. WL is the home of Purdue University) who have two small children. They will be offering their insights to the MK and how to save time and money. They are real WDW fanatics, who have visited numerous times. They won the contest by being WDW crazy on their audition tape and stating they are trying to stay at every WDW resort at least once. The fact the husband is a sports writer for the local newspaper and got two half pages in the Sunday newspaper for Disney and WDW has nothing to do with their selection.

They will be joined by the husband's parents (who are big WDW fans from MA) and his brother and his partner. If I count right that's 8--A Magical Gathering!!! The next episodes will cover the other parks with other families.

I hope this show is not just another WDW commercial with just talking heads like on the cheesy WDW tape/DVD. I have my DVD recorder set for 8 PM MT.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't you need to start taping at 7:00 in the Mountain Time Zone, since the show starts at 9 here in the east?

Right you are. I can't get used to this time in AZ. No DST like in my home state of IN. Very confusing.

Currently:

New York - 5 PM EDST
Indianapolis - 4 PM EST
Chicago - 4 PM CDST
Denver - 3 PM MDST
Kingman - 2 PM MST
LA - 2 PM PDST

ok so does this show frustrate anyone other than me?? I mean come one w/ the laminated intinerary, picking up a park map, and going to adventureland first. and btw if u are an ulitmate fan u would know that adventureland does not always open at 9am when the park does but often at 10am so there.

This seems to be just like all the Travel Channel other shows. Tower of Terror, Rock'n'Roller Coaster, Kilmanjaro, Test Track, Mission Space, Dinosaur. . .

Soon to be Buzz Lightyear, Space Mountain, Big Thunder, and Splash Mountain.

Nothing different. . so I HOPE I'm suprised.

They're just showing the same stuff that most of us know. They're spilling all of the secrets about saving time in line, so now those tips won't be any good because anyone with extended cable can find these tips. All of the crowds will use these tips so DON'T do what they tell you.
