They're just showing the same stuff that most of us know. They're spilling all of the secrets about saving time in line, so now those tips won't be any good because anyone with extended cable can find these tips. All of the crowds will use these tips so DON'T do what they tell you.

I really, really, really assure you, with all of my heart and soul that will not be a problem. There are sooooooo many resources besides this show. The average guest does not use these resources. Do you know how many guests ask me, "ummmm.... what's in this park? Where are the rides?", way too many. Don't worry everthing's gonna be ok, just trust me :)

This was definately not for us.
Could there be someone out there who has never been to WDW? If so, this is for them.

a WDWMagic video would be sweet!! i actually missed the special and apparently its a good thing. i hate when they assume certain people are the representation of *all* WDW fans. but whatever.

Man! was that awful?! There isn't a person on these boards who couldn't have done a better job than all of them. Actually, we could write, produce, direct and star in a better one than that. There was a bit of bad info, too. Like Adventure Land thing and the couple buying the tickets at the gate! NO ONE does that,,......do they? I should have watched The 4400!

I can understand making schedules for certain things before your trip (PS, showtimes, special events), but making an itinerary for every member of your group is going a little overboard. That schedule the father had looked like it was mapped out per hour and per ride. That doesn't seem like a very fun familly vacation to me. It seems a little forced. The honeymooning couple kind of annoyed me too, sleeping in till 9 and then buying their park tickets at the gate. That little speech about buying tickets at the gate was a bit much too. I liked the family at the MK, I thought they were really cute and I enjoyed watching what they did.

Although it wasn't very informative to those of us who frequent these boards, it was still fun to see the sights on tv. It only made me more excited to plan my next trip in December! :)

look at it this way...

all the more for US to enjoy ourselves.

How much of a 'secret' would it be if EVERYONE knew about it?

I have my secret parking space at a certain park...
...and only a few know of it. And they respect it! Mine, I tell you...

MINE!

I must say, I am totally disappointed. I have no idea how that family spent an entire day at the Animal Kingdom even after getting there early for the sunrise safari. The Levey family got up at 8:50 in the morning, don't the parks open at 9 and sometimes 8 for resort guests plus they bought their tickets at the gate, not very cost efficient. The show didn't even advertise Pal Mickey. My opinion, these people are not hardcore Walt Disney World fans, they just go there every now and then. They needed people like Patrick and others from this site that go there on a regular basis and know the place like the back of their hands..............ie: this trashcan is in the perfect location to climb on to get a picture of construction. I'd like to see one hour specials like they did for Animal Kingdom for all four parks. I'd also like to see a show celebrating Disneyland's 50th Anniversary!

I'm on the show

Hi folks -- former lurker and poster to this board. I've been watching everyone while the first word went out about this show, and would have posted earlier, but the production company asked us not to post until after the production aired.

I'm the guy on the Ultimate Fan's show (we were the ones in the Animal Kingdom Lodge). Tonight was the first time we got to see the finished product. We had 30 people (mostly teen friends of my boys) in our home watching it, and our family watched it again tonight at 11:00.

The experience was a pinnacle of our Disney addiction, and shows so little of what actually happened those two days in April. But, it was a hoot! The folks at Lightship Entertainment (the production company) are the best, as are the Disney people who worked with them.

I'd love to hear what you thought of the production -- give us a break because many of the "tips" we could have given were not tips that were "Disney corporate" and eveny my interview was approved in "real time" by Disney exec's.

I enjoyed the show

Being a true Disney "NUT" I enjoy ANY show that is about Walt Disney World.
Just getting a glance at all the attractions puts a smile on mine and my wife's face.

We also picked up a couple of great tips that will make out next Disney Vacation a little more exciting.

Thanks Dave...and thank you TOO Travel Channel! :sohappy:
