Fall for us in Magic Friends

Yep. Just me and What's His Face. We haven't been on a real trip alone in like 2 years. (B/c with the wedding, my family stayed with us and while we've been to Chicago since a few times, those really don't count...I got sick on one, brought a friend on the other, and we were alone on the one, but even that was a year ago.)
I still have my Chicago postcard up in my office! ;)

Oh duh! I think I asked you that the other day, sorry.

That's ok...it's been a long week. (At least it has for me. But there are reasons for that. )

Yay!!!

And since you brought it up...if anyone would like me to send them a postcard from Disney...PM me...(some of you I still have your addys for, so if you PMed me for the Chicago one, I still have it, those of you who didn't get one from Chicago, PM me your address too.)

All right, I suppose... and yet, not.

Honestly, I seemed to be the only one at school that actually REMEMBERED what transpired 6 years ago. A few people commented on the American flag pin I wore, much along the lines of "Bush supporter, eh?" or "Stupid Americans."

I can tell you with absolute certainty that I wanted to clobber every last one of them. (I've never thrown a punch in my life.)

I fear for today's perception of the United States of America amongst our youth, and especially my classmates. Our generation has never seen America helping out another country on a massive scale as in many occasions past.

I found this in the original WDWMAGIC 9/11 "report thread", and it pretty much expresses my feelings.

God.

Bless.

AMERICA.

Thank you Dan - that was truly wonderful!

Aww - wish I had been here to help. Sorry.
Psht.
You never help when help is needed.
Anyway. . .
We're home from the dentist and Stacey is doing well. Hurts. A lot. But so far she's tolerating it. I'm going to make her my mashed potatoes for dinner. (Her favorite comfort food.) I hope she's up to eating them.
Thanks for all your prayers and good thoughts.
I know they helped.
Can I have them if she doesn't?

Nibbs, would you mind sending a postcard to my kids? They would flip to get something from Mickey. I can PM you their names and our address, if you are SURE you don't mind. I would be very grateful.
Hi, again. Home from work. :sohappy:

Not at all. I totally wouldn't mind. That's why I asked. (Do you want Mickey to actually sign it too...I can try to see if I can get his autograph on yours as well. )

They've never seen Mickey's handwriting (too young for autograph books, thank God) so you can write it out and sign it "Mickey Mouse" and they'd be none the wiser. :animwink: Thanks!
Are you feeling any better?? At least it's now and not Friday morning that you feel like crap. That's usually my luck.

When I can get support from you, I'd better draw it out for as much as it's worth. :lookaroun :D
