What pain meds did they give her Dot?

Percocet.
The nurse told her to eat something soft (she suggested a cupcake) and drink some lukewarm tea before taking the first one, so as not to upset her stomach. Stacey's done that, taken the first pill and is waiting for it's full effects so she can sleep a bit. I'm making meat cakes ( which are basically hamburgers simmered in gravy) and the mashed potatoes for later. Hopefully, she'll eat a bit.

DBF at mac & cheese when he had his out. Nice and soft. :) Or pudding maybe? Don't you need to be careful about food pieces getting in there? I would think a cupcake may be too crumbly.

That's good. They gave DD Vicadin, which made her sick (I can't take it either)

No, the cake was fine.
The nurse said not to eat anything with hard pieces or seeds.
I'm making her mac and cheese for lunch.
I've got ice cream for milkshakes later.

The really big thing is not to rinse or eat anything that might dislodge the clotting blood, thus producing dry sockets which are excrutiating.

They told me drink nothing from a straw or any soda for at least a week or 2.
