It was pretty quiet coming in this morning. There was NYPD all over Times Square when I walked through. (:slurp: btw :lookaroun )
If it's not raining tonight we're gonna try and go down by the water and see the lights. I'll try and get a picture.

Thank you, Dana - that's OK - Betty started one. I don't like writing down what my actual birthday is, for obvious reasons. I think I told others because we were having a discussion about 9/11, and I explained how I refuse to give up my birthday because of what those animals took away. It has gotten better, I don't get as much of a reaction when I have to give my actual birth date. Although it happened again this summer when I went in for some bloodwork. But I'd be lying if I'm not replaying every moment in my head today.

(oh, and brb I think means "be right back" -- at least that's what I used it for. I asked Steph a question and had to leave my computer for a few minutes and didn't want her to think I was completely gone if I didn't respond right away.)
