Would you be able to pick up physics right away?
We have 21 days to adjust (meaning, drop down from higher to lower courses; wait, ewww! Lower courses... but I digress...:lookaroun ) scheduling and placement. The Honors Physics classes have already started and are about one test in, but I'd have to make up the early work.
Connor 002! Don't you dare drop a class!
As if I don't feel bad enough!:p
Especially since last year I campaigned to get into said class... :lookaroun
But we've already had three drops in one week of classes.

JK. If it's an optional AP do what you think is best.

I can't believ there are optional AP's.
Why not?

You too girlie!
I love reading your late night monologues, but having a conversation is nicer!

Hee hee...it is much less fun talking to myself!

Back in my day, when they put you in AP I assumed you just had to fo it, I can't believ it was an option.

::makes pouty face::

Not that I would EVER have made AP sciences...always English for me. Not that you could tell from how I'm typing toniht. I blame the poor lighting from the tiki torches on my patio as I enjoy my wireless laptop connection...

We're good like that.
...
And by the way, did I mention that all of said conjecture on dropping said class is based off anger at Microsoft Excel? :lookaroun

You don't have to feel bad if you're sure it's what you want to do. If you don't need the class and you don't think you'll have a problem making up the early physics work, then go for it. No point in being miserable. Just be sure.

I think I did catch that...

Not that this helps even a little, but I have often found that when you do a project the night before it's due, your computer will run out of ink, or excel won't work, or the damn thing won't work entirely...it is just the way of things.yktjhyugi8ghutguy98y9y

J'adore Anglais! Et histoire, aussi.
Mais, les maths et sciences. Oy.
(Well... except geometry, basic math, earth sciences, animals stuff, and the like. But they never teach that kind of good stuff...)

Of course.
And don't forget random windows "screw you" errors.

What the heck is a Webkinz?

I'm with you.
And I know nothing about Excel, but everyone I know who uses it, hates it.

Did you have to think that one through? :lookaroun
Indeed.
Might as well use those smarts where they will do you the most good.
But I don't like admitting any kind of defeat*.
*Or defeat that may be coming
EDIT: Impending! That's the word I was looking for

No, I'm done for now. There's more to do, but the worst is over. I spent the better part of today framing a poster for him. He bought it in Cologne when we went to Germany a few years ago, and I found it still in the tube in his room. Men!!!

I love Cologne!

It's a shame that the concept of global warming, whether accurate or incorrect, has been politicized to the point that nothing will ever be done.

Well, I'm a little biased, but I completely agree with you. It has become completely politicized and it's really depressing. Al Gore has become the face of global warming and because he's Al Gore, people get turned off to the subject.

BUT I'm not going to get political because I'm not a political person. I'm an environmental person :D

To Luke...
I love the pictures. You look wonderful and your sister and mom are beautiful. This has been an unusual and no doubt very stressful summer for all of you. Congrats on a very special day. . .I wish many more happy ones for all of you!

We are a pretty smokin' family.

No way dude...I talked to a young person the other night who is moving to Jamaica because "OMG, America is killing the earth and I wish I had the money to move away but you need money to do that!!!"

...

:lookaroun

:zipit:

Like, Ohh-Ma-God! We're murderers!

You sound like me when I wanted to quit my job. I stressed out completely about being a quitter. But, having done it, I know it was absolutely the right thing. With me, it's making the decision that was difficult. Once I did, it was a relief.
