They were some of the people who work with Dave and their spouses, so I feel a little better about the wedding now. The groom is one of Dave's former co-workers (he's promoted now so he's a fellow department head at another school), but he was really the only one I knew who would be there. I'm sooooo shy it's embarrassing...:o

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooo!

We should be hearing from a certain young Canadian on this one sometime soon.

I respectfully disagree.

Now, let's pretend I read the last 20 or so pages.
Okay with everyone?
Good.
I was delightfully unamused.

We may not always be amusing, but we always care.

But I'm back! You should be happy to see me! :D :lookaroun

I am!

Here I am dressed up for Halloween...in September...

Cutest little pirate ever!

One more fun pic before I go for the night...this is after Vince, WHF, and I got off of pirates and they decided to have a sword fight...One of my favorite pics! :D

OMG!
I thought Vince was kidding about the cutlass fight!

Good morning everyone!

Can't sleep. All twitchy about whether or not to "over-advice" Em. I guess kids work stuff out, right?
Unfortunately you can't do anything about how other kids talk to yours. Abby has a boy in her gifted class who really goes out of his way to call her names and tell her to shut up, that kind of thing. But unless he's dumb enough to get physical about it, there isn't a thing we can do except be a listening ear for her at home. It's so hard as a parent though...you actually think about starting to beat the little brats up for talking that way to your child. :zipit:

Morning, Betty and Dot! *yawn*
DS had us up past 1 a.m. we think he as an ear infection. :hammer:
How are you guys today?

Poor baby - he must be miserable. I hope he gets over it quickly!

I know, me too.
And I've got the added problem of not being able to speak loudly enough to be heard over music at such occasions. Lauren is going to be sure that normal conversation is possible at her wedding.

I hate when you have to shout to be heard. I generally just sit and pretend.....
