Yes, he's probably had more than a dozen... plus he's had ear tubes put in twice. One of them is blocked, and that's the ear he was pulling at. DH just left to take him to the pediatrician.

Okay - feeling better I think (haven't had my shower yet, not sure :lol: ). Mike's working this weekend, but I keep telling myself it's Disney money. :animwink: He had seven calls last night though.

:lol: :lol: Yes, I was thinking the same thing.

Joel has his share of ear infections in his first year, although it never came to putting tubes in. His dad has such a bad time with ear infections and the resulting surgeries, that he can hardly hear out of his left ear.

They were some of the people who work with Dave and their spouses, so I feel a little better about the wedding now. The groom is one of Dave's former co-workers (he's promoted now so he's a fellow department head at another school), but he was really the only one I knew who would be there. I'm sooooo shy it's embarrassing...

A big package arrived here yesterday.
Ken's Texas relatives (there's a rather large group in Wautaugh who can't make it to the wedding) sent a box full of beautifully wrapped gifts and at least 10 cards. Lauren was so excited when I called her and told her!
