My weirdest dream...
All my life I've dreamt of seeing airplanes and helicopters just drop out of the sky and crash.
One night I dreamt that I was standing outside the house I grew up in. Two small boys walked up the street and said hello. In the dream I knew one of them but not the other. Just as they started to walk away, a plane crashed into the roofs of the houses at the end of the block. The little boy I did not know started to scream that his grandfather was in that plane. He ran to me and I hugged him and held him.
I had that dream on Monday night, September 10th, 2001.

Wow! Very weird.

This might seem stupid, but I have a recurring dream about every month or so, only problem is I cannot remember what happens in it at all, only that it is something very upsetting.
Now how do I know it is recurring if I don't remember what happens? Good question, it's hard to explain. But I have the same feeling every time I wake up out of it.
Not sure if that makes sense at all, and it doesn't! Lol.

Yikes!

I have dreams about plane crashes too, and various other things falling out of the sky. I saw a plane crash at an air show many years ago, and I've always attributed those dreams to that.

It's really weird.
I've have had those dreams for as long as I can remember.
But since that one on that particular night, they have stopped.

Ok, my favorite one and one of the most bizarre, I actually had when I was in elementary school and I still remember it. I used have a recurring dream theme of tornados when I was little. Most were scary but this one was just bizarre. I was at my elementary school and there was a tornado warning. We all went outside and could see it in the distance coming towards our school. Our teacher got out a box of...clown wigs and we all had to put them on to stay safe.

Kind of makes Vince look normal, now huh?

Hi Kat! Hey, since you're here, I need to ask....we're eating at Boma in October, is there anything in particular (besides zebra domes) that we MUST make a point of trying?

It makes perfect sense.
Some dreams come with a feeling that is just unexplainable. And sometimes a really bad feeling comes with a dream that wasn't bad at all.

Kind of makes Vince look normal, now huh?

Well. . .
no. :lookaroun

Oh! I LOVE the white bean hummus. And they have the best salmon I'd ever tasted. They have at least four soups every night and usually I LOVE at least three fo them - so definitely check them out! Um... back when I drank alcohol, I really enjoyed trying their African beers and wines - not sure if you'd be interested in that. They also have this mashed potato-like thing. I don't remember the name of it, but it's like sweet potato, regular potato and maybe something else all mashed together which is VERY good.

Oh Jenny! Take some pics of the food for me! I miss that place!:slurp:

You've probably suppressed them now - too painful!

That could very well be.
The first time I ever had a panic attack, it was in my sleep. I have since read up on it and it seems I was probably dreaming about something that was just so awful, I couldn't handle it. When I think of it, I get an image of a big wooden door with a heavy metal latch. The door is set in a stone wall, like you would see in castle. The door is unopened. Probably, the night I had the panic attack, I opened the door. . .

Gotcha! I think this trip is as much about the food as the attractions, as we're visiting F&W too. So there will be lots of pics of the food! :D
I have never actually tried hummus, might need to check that out. And the watermelon rind salad sounds neat. I don't drink alcohol at all, so I'll be skipping that. But the potato thing sounds awesome - I love me some taters!

It's really fascinating how the mind works - what triggers things, and how your mind reacts to it.
