I have seen some children with their faces painted. They look awesome. Can anyone tell me in what park and/or where face painting is located?

I know MK and DHS definitely have it (and I'm pretty sure Epcot and AK have it too). MK has it in Toontown, and DHS has it down on Streets of America.

At AK, they are in Africa just near the entrance to the Kilimanjaro Safari, and they are totally worth it!!!

We had both our 7 and 3 year old daughter's faces painted (they range from $10 - $15 depending on the design). They were awesome...

Even better, about an hour later we made the mistake of going on Kali River Rapids (mistake not because it was not fun, because it is, but because they both got very wet and ruined their faces)...

We took two very sad girls back to the face painters to see what they could do, and they more than happily redid them (they called it a 'touch-up' but they pretty much re-did it) and charged us nothing!! They apparently charge $5 for a re-do, but I can't imagine what that entails since they washed both my kids faces and started basically from scratch.

In fact, we went by about 5 hours later to go on an evening Safari (something I definitely recommend) and they weren't busy and the one CM offered to touch them up again (which they didn't need)...

In short, the CMs at AK painting were great...I know most if not all the designs are the same at every park (I think the Dinosaur face is only at AK, but I may be wrong).

I normally wouldn't pay for face painting at a fair or something, but it is definitely part of our Disney tradition now...

Does anyone have pics of their little ones?? Both of my girls are waiting patiently to see the face painting as they are both dying to have it done.

My girls got their face painted 3 times. Twice in Toontown and once in AK in DinoLand.

This was done in DinoLand. I think it was $12. Not my favorite.

Toontown... $15 I think.. and LOVED it!

ToonTown and they didn't charge us for this one because it didn't turn out right since the model was wiggling the whole time. :ROFLOL:It was supposed to be $8 I think.

This one was done in ToonTown but we did pay $8 for it even though it didn't turn out well either.

We really enjoyed the face painting and my girls loved the pampering. It was expensive but since they touch it up for you I guess you can make it last all day. =)

Thanks!

We lucked out and ran into the same artist that did the Cinderella (second pic I posted) again in Dinoland and he did the first pic. I didn't care for the Dinoland one because I thought the pink around my daughter's eyes made her look ill... but it wasn't the artist's fault! He did a gorgeous job. He said he couldn't ever remember a time when he painted the same guest twice. We saw him the first day and last day of our trips.

They are very talented and I am sure my girls will want to get their faces painted every day on our next trip! I need to start saving up now for that I guess.

I don't remember how much it was but she loved it! It lasted most of the day. I had no idea they would touch it up.

I would love to get it done. But I sweat a lot in FL, and my face gets irritated very easily.

I guess I will have to be happy with doing my hair in the Barber Shop.

We got our DD's done at the one in Toontown. They did such a great job and they were really nice. I believe it was $15. Just looking at these reminds me of how big she is getting. Granted this was about 2 1/2 yrs ago.

I got my face painted for the MPPP back in Feb & I am 26. I paid about $15 and loved it. I got so many complaments at the party and everyone loved it, even the CM's loved it. Stupid me forgot to take a pic b4 I went to bed that night. I was so tired I wasn't thinking straight. LOL

Great pictures!!

This looks like a good idea for our first day. I know my niece will spazz over all the glitter! We'll get to the parks around 3PM, and have ressie's for Chef Mickey's for 8PM, so we aren't planning anything strenuous for that 1st day. I think we'll just jump on the train to Toon Town and spring for some face paint.

(I am SO looking forward to taking little kids on this trip....:animwink:)
