Hey, I was looking for a video of the Hydrolators on YouTube, but couldn't find anything! Anyone care to give me a description of the effects they used, and where it was located specifically? Also, if anyone has a link to a video it'd be much appreciated.
Any other attractions that have been ignored by YouTube that you'd like to see?

This link will get you started. There is no video but quite a few pictures. As to their function it was really quite simple. There was a front and back door only one of which would be open at a time to maintain the illusion. You went in the door closed behind you. The floor lowered about 1/2 an inch an shook back and forth a little. There were rock panels on tread mills outside the windows and a bubble screen to complete the going under water illusion. You hit the ground, heard a few air lock like sound effects and then went into sea base alpha. The illusion was so convincing that it actually prompted a lawsuit by a guest claiming that there ears popped due to the pressure change of going underwater.

The big one I wish there was a real ride through of (note I said real, not the digitally made ones) was Adventures Through Inner Space. That ride looked kinda cool.
