I voted great movie ride. It's a great ride for movie lovers. With fox they could have done some nice updates as well. But mostly because that park could really use GMR in a bit over a year. They could have easily found a different spot for Mickey in a different part of the park.

I would love to see Journey into imagination, captain Nemo, world of motion, Horizons one very old ride that Pan Am had. Also the origional Alien Encounter.

I want to know how many of those 98 people actually rode Horizons. It's like everyone I know over 60 who claims to have been at Judy Garland's Carnegie Hall show, or seen Carrie: The Musical on Broadway. For the latter, it'd still be running today.
I was only 9 when it closed, but I still remember riding it. While I was pretty excited for Mission Space; now that I'm older I definitely would've ridden Horizons way more overall. It was really cool.

Great Movie Ride was a big loss for me. It's a big part of what gave me my love of film (I've now seen about 12,000 movies overall, and own nearly 10,000). I made it a mission to see every film referenced on the ride and it took me years but I did it. Then they changed the ending video again so I had to find a few more. It and Backlot have given me a lot and it's a shame that I'll never experience them again. MGM was my favorite park for my entire childhood, and now it's a park that I don't even feel like I have to visit anymore (Although Star Wars will change that feeling at least).

Now if Tower of Terror, Space Mountain, or Dinosaur are ever seriously altered or removed, I'm not sure how I'll take it. They are why I love so many other things.

I rode horizons and my whole family. The kids are now adults. I really enjoyed and so did they.
I guess it is kind of like this. A person went with my son to Disney. It was the petson’s 1st time. They were in the MK in fantasyland. The person wanted to know why they were going on all the kiddy rides. My son took offense and said these aren’t kiddy rides. At that point it was probably my son’s 15th time at Disney. To some of us the attractions never grow old not look like they are kiddy rides.
