The longer this plays out the more I an inclined to believe that TWDC was never the intended target. The article may or may not be completely true (like most Spirit posts of the past it seems to be truth wrapped in personal grudge), but with recent new member posts it feels like outing Lutz, TP2000, Micechat and specific (yet oddly not directly named) WDWMagic members was the main objective. Beats me what the point of doing that is but I can't imagine this will actually impact leadership at TWDC.Still going after this site and those who run it? Can’t imagine why a brand new member would do that....

I'm not claiming anyone is lying, nor do I want this to be a personal attack on anyone but I find it very odd that the following happened:
"I can claim that TP2000 is lying!"
"Actually I like to lie, just ignore me"

Build rides. Not this “immersive worlds” nonsense. In the meantime try to get as much of their money back as they can.
12 acres in Anaheim is an outrageous waste of space. Coulda been three mini lands with different themes + smaller Batuu with the Resistance ride.
Basic, logical assumptions would lead us to conclude that these attacks had to be done by someone with a (petty) grudge, someone who feels threatened, someone who has backed into a corner, and/or someone who would benefit from a fracture in these fan communities. So who would fit those descriptions?
Keep on preaching. This is my favorite(and one of the few I can understand) post in this otherwise National Enquirer like thread.Build rides. Not this “immersive worlds” nonsense. In the meantime try to get as much of their money back as they can.

No. She posted the exact same screed on another site as well. And only posted there once too....Anybody think "Katiebug" was a plant?
There seems to be a couple.Imagine that you're a new member. - That just signed up for WDW Fan Site.
....And this is the first thread you read.
I'm not sure I can buy that their has been a company supported effort to infiltrate the fan base to the degree claimed but I could buy that someone (s) with motivation, good or bad, within the company went rogue. I also wouldn't be surprised if this was all nothing more than internet drama. The fan community wasn't the target IMO. The purpose all summer has been to artificially create chaos in twdc. Again my opinion. But I have seen this building all summer. It clearly seems coordinated.
Eh, not sure why anyone would be surprised by this.
For me, its business as usual. We have some incredible insiders here who time after time have not only been correct but class acts to boot. I think if you been on these boards for more than a year, you know who you can trust and you can tell trolls from influencers etc.

John Carter was legit a good movie that was a victim of poor marketing though. A mix of Hollywood's weird insistence that the word "Mars" in your title is a curse and Andrew Stanton mistaking the vast influence of the Barsoom books on science and science fiction as mainstream popularity.John Carter and Dark Phoenix flopped? Blame the marketing departments instead of admitting the stories and acting were subpar.
It was okay, but as evidenced by its Metacritic score of 51, it had more problems than a marketing campaign. I remember word-of-mouth being mediocre too.John Carter was legit a good movie that was a victim of poor marketing though.
