Actually, the main entrance will be to right of the red X . That is the entry bldg for Everest.
Thank you I wasn't postive about that one. Thats why I said it would be in the vacinity of the purple circle. I just assumed it would be between the Fastpass distribution and the sign, but that building makes sense.

By the way, PETER, how on earth do you know where the sign will be, etc.?!
The rock structure that will become the attractions sign has already been installed. As for the buildings, I don't thing any are simply facades, I am almost certain they are all actual buildings. However don't worry there will be a store I’m sure.

umm, looking at the concept art it looks like there are going to be switchbacks. Also, that looks like a fairly small loading area to me. Maybe im looking at it wrong. Anyone else agree?

Man i cant wait for this ride...:D

I have to say, this keeps looking better and better! I can tell that the theming here will be intense, and also one of the best we've seen in our lifetimes, and possibly, Everest will conquer the Tower as being the most heavily themed ride these past few years. I just hope the sign isn't the logo they unveiled when they announced Mission Himalayas....that logo looked like a regular amusement park ride logo, it actually reminded me of a roller coaster in Six Flags, LOL. I think the logo should be more Asian-themed, or mysterious looking, not how it is now.

There are no switchbacks in the concept art so the only thing you have to make that conclusion is the size of the buildings. But remember the concept art does not show everything, and the entire queue will not be indoors. As for the loading area remember it is only a concept picture, but regardless you don't need much space to load the ride. The RnRC load area is about the same size as the Everest Load area.

Does anyone know if there will be a nice restaurant in those buildings?

That would be nice, eating with Everest in the background and all.:)

Sorry, no restaurant. Just a merchandise shop and a place to buy your photo.

While I'm sure most of those buildings will be for queue, my money is on them squeezing in a gift shop and perphaps a food stand or six  :slurp: :lookaroun ;)

Thanks for the info pics!

Actually, this is one of those attractions that merits a gift-shop.

Bummer, I think the nice sit-down restaurant choices are pretty weak in DAK... I know other's disagree, but I haven't found much else that I like there...

Well that’s because outside of Rainforest AK has no sit-down table service restaurants. However three of the four counter service restaurants are outstanding and possibly the best counter service in WDW. I would say that at Tusker House you can get a meal that is cheaper and as good as just about any WDW table service restaurant.

Yeah that would've been nice to have a sit-down nearby.

I have an idea, tear down Tarzan Rocks and put in a sit down restaurant there facing Everest!

     Until the brain freeze sets in, LOL! But yeah, I think a restaurant facing Everest would be cool....like maybe you could be like in the forest, you see some animals like tigers, bats, animals indigenous to Asia, and it would be cool to tie it in with Everest. Also, this might be a little off-topic, But I think lots of Kali's problems could be solved if they integrate Kail with Everest. It would be cool, going down a waterfall underneath the mountain... :sohappy:
