"Expedition Everest" Entrance?!

I've been looking very closely at the concept art for Everest, and I have noticed that it does not provide an indication of where the actual entrance will be!!

Obviously the concept art is supposed to be vague, so as not to give away too much, but it seems a bit odd that there is nothing at all that looks like an entrance to the queue. On the Imagineering models, there is clearly a boarding station close to the new village, so the entrance must be somewhat nearby. Could it be behind the buildings in the front of the picture? Anyone have any more clues?

I thought this would be a fun and interesting topic while our excitement builds for the opening of this new adventure!

The boarding area will be located directly behind the buildings in the concept art. Give me a minute and I will upload a picture showing where the entrance will be.

The Green Box shows where the boarding area will be located.

The red X is where the attractions main sign will be located. A large rock structure has been built there that will eventualy be the sign.

The Blue arrow points to the building (not on concept art) that will have the Fastpass distribution. Photos of this building and boxes where the machines will go have been posted on here.

Finally somewhere in the vacinity of the purple circle will be where the attractions entrance will be located. That is between the main sign and the FP distribution.

I'm sure the queue area for EE will be massive. Any idea where it will be?
It is long queue much like that of Kali, and the safari. The queue will not have many if any switchbacks. And will run through many of the buildings and outside areas seen in the bottom left corner of the concept art. Much of the inside queue is located in a building that’s roof can barely be seen above the top of the pagoda looking building on the left. My guess is that this is where any pre-show/briefing room will be located.

It feels like ITTBAB has a longer queue than that of Kali (note: it FEELS). I'm sure it will be themed as well, if not better than Kali, Kilimanjaro, or Dinosaur.

The lack of switchbacks is a very good sign indeed. This means that there will be alot of theming and pre-story in the queue!!

I had just assumed that most of the extra buildings around the attraction were going to be for gift shops, etc., not for the queue.

Well, keep in mind that the majority of the queue will be outdoors. It will be very similar to Kali in that respect.

This is awesome. :) Thanks for clearing this all up!

Actually, the main entrance will be to right of the red X . That is the entry bldg for Everest.

Great news. I love hearing details about the "little things" of the attraction EX: queue, sign, preshow, etc.

Let's hope that there will at least be a briefing room or maybe a nice preshow.

So all of these buildings will make up the queue area... sounds like it will be quite well themed, as people have said. By the way, PETER, how on earth do you know where the sign will be, etc.?!

Then I guess the entrance will be very obvious to passing guests. This use of the buildings sounds very clever- I thought that a lot of them were just going to be stores, facades, etc.

By the way, I think it's already obvious that (for those of us who even care to ride Kali), the best thing to do is get a Kali Fastpass, and ride Everest while waiting! (Thats planning ahead for ya... :hammer: )

No, Kali isn't worth a fastpass, get a fastpass for Everest and wait in line for Everest.

While I'm sure most of those buildings will be for queue, my money is on them squeezing in a gift shop and perphaps a food stand or six  :slurp: :lookaroun ;)

Thanks for the info pics!
