Is that a good sign that he will be fixed?! I feel he needs to be fixed but at this point I could wait for Avatar to open for them to fix the yeti and do a refurb on Dinosaur!WDI were taking a very close look at old Discostrobe earlier this year. A very close look. Not the first time.
It is a sign they've known its a problem for a long long time.Is that a good sign that he will be fixed?! I feel he needs to be fixed but at this point I could wait for Avatar to open for them to fix the yeti and do a refurb on Dinosaur!
Once that is done I think Animal Kingdom could be my favorite park!
Never Question the bird.I rode it on Friday. Steam was working, waterfalls were working, and I swear I saw the Yeti's arm move. I also noticed the bird for the first time. I couldn't see the stick, so it was nicely done, but it seemed kind of weird and pointless to me.
Guys, please stop reporting that the steam, waterfalls, and now bird are working. They work with the consistency of any other effect in WDW.
And of course, if the yeti ever does actually move again, the news will explode through the internet, so this thread is still pointless to be pinned to the top.
buzzkill.
well some of us are still deeply troubled that the Yeti has been paralized for years now.
It was suppose to represent a species of birds found in that region that would hover on the air currents.Am I the only one who doesn't understand why they ever put that bird on that stick?
It looks strange. I feel like that was an opportunity to employ a clever illusion, but they went with bird on a stick instead. It was suppose to represent a species of birds found in that region that would hover on the air currents.
IMHO it was a good idea, but very poor execution.
Pretty much.It looks strange. I feel like that was an opportunity to employ a clever illusion, but they went with bird on a stick instead.
Oh well I guess.
That kind of rigging would definitely be an improvement.Pretty much.
Usually the simplest ideas are the best ones. Not so in this case. I would have like to seen them use something akin to the Skycams used at NFL games. That way the bird could have moved in all direction and looked much more realistic.
