It’s amazing how people continue to believe that Disney is some sort of totalitarian police state.

Wait, are you saying they don't:
  • have cameras with facial recognition recording everything you do?
  • have paid influencers on every discussion board, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and every other social medium?
  • have fake surveys as propaganda to give the impression they care?
  • tell everyone how much they care but cater only to the middle class and give special privileges to the super rich?

Oh, wait. The last one they definitely do. Stupid fascists.

I think it’s more than just an x amount of dollars fix. If they want to “fix” the scene they probably need to redo the entire scene with a different AA figure.

TBH, I wouldn't be surprised if someone from legal doesn't even want a replacement AA to be hanging over the track.

While that is also true, the video in question does at least demonstrate a few things:

1. The yeti is easily accessible.
2. It is on/next to a maintenance platform (cameraman took the more obvious but stupid method)
3. It isn't actually all that ridiculously big and it's easy to see how it could be disassembled and removed in pieces.

Seriously, the fact that people think the figure can't be disassembled into small pieces for easy removal out of the mountain is mind boggling.

Also, if you watch closely, you can see the infamous strobe lights and fans.

Just watched it. I dunno...neat to at least see this space... maybe they should just fix the damned thing? Dunno why Disneyland can shut down the Matterhorn at the drop of a hat and do refurbs when this just sits...
