EXCLUSIVE Coverage of Space Mountain's final day!!!

I will be heading down to WDW from April 17-27, and my first day at the parks, which will be spent at the Magic Kingdom, also just happens to be the final day that Space Mountain will be open before it goes down for its big rehab.

If that sounds very convenient, its cause it is. LOL

I purposely planned to be there for the final day.

With video camera in hand, I will be providing some serious coverage of the final day of this ride.

Actually, I'm doing a video diary of my trip, from before I leave, all the way to leading up to when I get back, with extra care spent on SM coverage.

I will also be showing our dinner at The California Grill (which will kick off just before the fireworks go off at MK. Did I mention that we have window seats?), as well as my Keys To The Kingdom tour, as well as lots of exclusive things that my CM friend will be getting me access to.

I've already uploaded two videos, with lots more to come!

But most importantly, I will be providing some exclusive last day coverage of the ride. My CM friend is gonna get me some time to talk with some other CMs who work there, and there is a possibility that I will get a chance to talk to some really really important people who work at MK...........

BTW Anyone else gonna be at the parks April 18? We should all get together and have a memorial service for SM! Maybe have a group ride or something, to honor SM LOL

LOL Thanks, I'm uploading a new video now; The videos that I'm doing now are more for fun, but once I get there, I will have some serious Disney coverage.

Plus, my CM friend said that there is a chance that I will have a chance to get to talk to the manager of MK, and some other people that he will get me a chance to talk to; SO look forward to bringing you guys some exclusive stuff on the parks.

But seriously, does anyone know if Disney is planning anything big? I heard that Annual Passholders are getting some exclusive stuff, but other than that, anything else?

Right now annual pass holders have a chance to own a piece of SM if you fill out a form and drop it off at a special box in TL. Other than that I am not aware of anything.

Awesome, you are going to love viewing Wishes from a window seat at CG-everybody needs to do this at least once.

sound like me when my husband is not around with me !!!:lol: he thinks im crazy to listen to disney music all the time:D he rather not hear my awful singing:eek:

LOL Thanks, it was so funny when I went in to edit my last video, and found that I had almost 30 minutes of video that had recorded.........LOL


So, I guess no one else will be up there on SM's final day? No one?

I should be there that day but I'm on the other end of things because TTA is my fav. so I was going to be rideing it all day (minus the chance there is ever a line & I have to get off & to eat dinner maybe) But as long as I'm there I could join you on SpaM a few times just keep me updated on your plans. Oh & other TTA fans I'll prob. do some sort of fun wacky video that day myself from my cam & take some pics. because "What Will I Celebrate?" for my B-Day Aug. 6 my fav. ride being down for reburb. :(

Bring it on! See if the TTA is closing early and try to get a last ride, but I guess most importantly is to be at SMs entrance at park closing.

Have you gone on Socerer1 radio on Live 365?? It has theme park music all day long..Even resort tv!!! Yeah my hubby thinks I'm way gone!!

AMAZING idea AREM! I'll def be checking it out. I would be up there then, but 1 I already went up (3x in fact with 3 different people) to say my goodbyes, that and I have finals a couple days later and if i dont pass....i dont get my degree :eek:

good luck and enjoy yourself, i really wish i could b there for those interviews too :shrug:

I'm sorry. Wow. I'm laughing. First of all, the chances of the average Guest Service Manager knowing anymore than the average person that posts here on WDWmagic are slim! Second of all, if they did know any "exclusive stuff on the parks," what do you think the odds are of them letting you, a guest, in on this stuff?

I assume your Cast friend is probably just a CP, or someone similar. He's going to get you some exclusive time with actual Space Mountain cast members? I don't understand. Just go up and talk to them. They don't know anymore about the ride than any of us do, to be honest.
