Today I got my results from my first speech of the semester...

I showed up there w/ only my intro prepared, and a minor idea of what I wanted to talk about..


and I got an... A!!! I got a 95!! Woohoo!!! This is gonna be a good semester, I can feel it already.

...I remember a kid giving a speech on how not to give a speech...the kid stumbled over words, shuffled papers, and acted more nervous than a dog pooping 10 penny nails...
...it wasn't until the very end of the speech that everyone realized he was play acting...he got an A+. It was ME.:lol:

Ha! My daughter spent an extremely expensive semester there (out of state tuition, I'm sorry to say) before transferring to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona. Riddle's not cheap, either, but graduation's in sight! WOO-HOO!

don't remind me... I'm about to do a semester in VCC so I can get some credits that are always full at UCF... or transfer to USF and do a helluva commute
