I need your December Ohana' reservation. I can't get in on the day I want!! :D

They told me to keep checking in and a spot might open up. I've been checking once a day but still nothing has become available except for 9:30. And who wants to eat at 9:30!?
OK, if I had an ADR in December for Ohana I would drop it right now so you could have it. Alas, we are going in Sept. and don't even have ADRs for then...we sorta wing it and don't like planning days around restaurants. I'd say just keep checking...it may just pop up.

Also, we are early risers, so by 9:30 breakfast is long gone and I'm thinking about lunch. Unless you mean 9:30 p.m. In that case you could see fireworks on the Poly beach, building up an appetite for what is soon to come!

It is in the p.m. It's the night that they have EMH. I was hoping to eat around 6 then stay till close. Oh well, Im sure I'll figure something out.

From an ADR stalking perspective, it's early. While it's still worth checking a few times a day at this stage, your best stalking times are going to start in November. While I can be a compulsive ADR stalker :hilarious: I always try and remind myself that the stalking drastically improves in those last few weeks before travel. There's an uptick around 45 days, but the real bonus time is in those last 2 to 3 weeks when people start thinning out ADRs and finalizing plans.

Thanks for the advice @HouCuseChickie ! I will definatly keep that in mind...I still have 109 days to go :(

I have had 2 trips where I had to stalk for 'Ohana dinner. In both cases, I wound up landing a less than ideal ADR about 40 days out. In both cases I also kept stalking and in each case, about 2 weeks out I wound up landing the perfect time. So, I realize I'm just 1 person, but from my experiences I'd say 'Ohana is a really good one to stalk late in the game. Good luck :)

Don't give up hope!! Our trip last December I was in the same boat as you and while over there I kept calling everyday as well and one day I called while on the way to one of the parks and we got a ressie for the very next evening! So even when you get there keep calling every day b/c people have to cancel 24 hours out so there credit card does not get charged. So things do open up especially the day prior to a ressie. Luckilly this Dec we already have our ressie as I did it right at 180+ 10 days mark. :)

As Dory would say, just keep checking. :) I have done this for loads of places when I couldn't first get what and when i wanted and almost every time I got the ADR i wanted in the end. :)

If I booked a 9:30 dinner I would be holding a sleeping 6 year old instead of eating my dinner.
9:30 is WAY too late to eat with a child.

We had an 8pm at 1900 Park Fare and my daughter was falling asleep last December, no more late meals for us.
