Did you ever see the press event for EVEREST? Al Weiss (I believe...coulda been Rasulo--doesn't matter) came out in a parka in what looked like the middle of a blizzard...'twas kewl.

That was a great press event for the announcement of Everest. Everyone was in Parkas, including Al Weiss (President WDW), Joe Rhode (AK Imagineer), and Elizabeth Stevens (V.P. of AK). And, Goofy made an appearance during a violent snow storm...

How can you wear a ski jacket in the heat at the AK. Wouldnt you die in heat. I wouldnt be able to do it. *Knowing he is going off topic*

thanks for the update and pics. yeh, the mountain will basically cover the whole view through the trees from the theater it looks like. cool.

I'm getting really excited for this attraction, especially since it may open early. I'll be going to the World in March 2006, and when I heard the attraction may open in April I almost cried! This is great news that me and all my friends may be able to experience this on our senior trip.
