Everytime that Montu guy has posted something it's been negative and rude. I can't believe he's still allowed to post here.

But anyway, the pictures of EE are wonderful! It's come a long way since I saw it in July. I can't wait to ride it. Looks really fun!

I saw nothing wrong with his post.

I did, which you can probably notice in my earlier post.

I did too. It just seemed like an uncalled for response. Posts like that, which are both rude and in a mocking nature just don't really seem necessary.

I think Montu was just trying to be funny, in an odd sort of way, we all just need to lighten up a bit I guess.

Everest is looking like every Disney fanboy's wet dream, Impressive scale, mind blowing themeing, it's just perfect. An attraction of this scale and attention has long been overdue at this side of the resort, it's always been Epcot who's been getting all the new stuff. Now for MK's new mountain....

If he wants to be rude like that, he can start his own forum to talk trash in.

I thought cell response was funny... but then... I tend to "get" things a lot of people don't. Of course I have skin coloring and friends outside of online... so who knows? Maybe I'm the freak?

Does anyone know if they are going to hide the stairs somehow that stick out like a sore thumb? Would be great if the could build the mountain up and over those stair to feel more like a cave if the stairs have to be use in an emergency.

They very well could do something like on BTMRR with the stairs a part of the rock formation, but who knows, I'm not sure.

There is still a whole year's build (or at least the better part of a whole year) so things will change a lot before the opening day.

We all know Disney better than to believe they'd let a staircase ruin the theme! I presume it will be covered in rock theming somehow - well, at least I hope :animwink:

BTW, will EE have fastpass? It's definitely going to be Asia's E-ticket, so I'm sure it will.
In my opinion it is AKs only true E-ticket. Well, CTX is an E-ticket. I just hope that AK starts another attraction soon, although I doubt it will happen before EE opens.

Methinks the Safari gets the E-ticket label as well. :D

No cave although like others have said they probably touch it up with some theming. Also, I don't think that particular part of the attraction will be visible from the bridge. I have a feeling that they will put tree in that area to cover up that portion from view of the bridge, if that is the case then the only the riders of the train will see it and you will be wizzing by their so fast that you probably wouldn't notice, unless you were looking for it

Expedition Everest has a logo!

I was a DAK today taking pixs of EE's cap and US flag and noticed there was a banner just below the cap. Sorry the 3 megapix camera I have doesn't have the resolution needed but that's all I have for now. I took the video camera and zoomed into the banner and found there is a blue logo of EE on a white background. The caption is : "Expedition Everest: Ledgend of the Forbidden Moutain."

When I get back home I'll try to get a video frame capture that shows the logo better than this. (Unless a local has the gear to post a better pix).

EE, so near and yet so far away (in time). I can hardly wait. :sohappy:

Side note: Not a lot of EE construction talking place today. Lots of work going on for the surrounding village.

See pix EE Banner.

Nice Pic, I am planning a trip quick trip to Universal in Feb for just the weekend, I think I might go one day longer just to go down and see EE. It is pretty weird that I would go to AK just to see the construction of EE. Heck, I'll probably go in the morning then visit MK after that.
