Ever have regrets after a WDW trip?

i guess im weird, i end up regretting that i pushed too much and not enough at the same time! haha, theres always one thing that i remember i wanted to do after i get back, and then there are things, that i wish i hadnt pushed to do but rather take more time to just relax at the resort pool or something. the other thing is i usually regret not going to blizzard beach. i always pick typhoon, because i like the feel and theme of it better. we went to BB back when it first opened and i wasnt too impressed. weve only really had time to do one of the water parks every trip so we always pick TL. however, i always want to go and give BB another chance... maybe next week!

Maybe the only regret would be that I didn't do something more than once...go on a ride, visit a special place, but mostly I would say no. I regret having to leave every time my vacation is over though!! :ROFLOL:

Regret is a strong word, but I know what you mean. I have been multiple times to the Walt Disney World Resort. Our first trip in 2001 was a magical disaster of sorts. My dad organized it all and if it wasn't for the fact that I knew the basic layout of the four parks, we'd have been in a real mess. First off, we went during peak season in August, which was the equivilant of spending your Walt Disney World vacation in a sauna. The stress of cramming everything into a seven day trip was upon us (since at that point I was not sure if I would ever return to WDW), our day at Blizzard Beach (which should be renamed Blistered Beach in my opinion) was a nightmare, and we had no plans for what we would eat while we were there, but thankfully we secured reservations at Fulton's one night, May Grill on another, and Planet Hollywood on our last night. That being said, I took many special memories from that trip and I wouldn't trade that time spent with my family for the world.

In your case, it sounds like you are a regular at the parks, so you'll always have your next trip to think about. By the way, there are several ways to do most everything without hurrying everything along. When I go, I follow a series of nearly fool proof guidelines that have never let me down. I'll send them to you if you want. :king:

I regret not being a better photographer, I'd love to be able to take a photo half as well as jeffb, keekee, or coolio. And I guess I regretted having to come home so soon, is eight days really enough? I think not. So I've been practicing with the camera and planning another trip.:)

I hear that one. Also for me, not getting to the parks at opening to witness their opening ceremony (especially MK's). Oh well, there is always next trip! :sohappy:

Yes i regret not being mega rich and be able to be over there several times a year in a really lush 7 bed villa with family. All joking aside i just wish my dad would fly over and see the"world" but my step mom wont fly for that long so he wont go:zipit:

I have just a few:
1. Wishing my husband and I visited before our son was born. We were married for five years prior to his birth but never got down to WDW.
2. Having my husband take SO MANY photos our first trip when Dylan was 4 years old. I love all the photos and have a great album of memories, but my DH didn't remember most of the rides or shows because he was too busy getting the right angle and checking his flash and reloading film (before digital cameras).

Ya, we went for 2 days and didn't get park hoppers and were rushing through the parks all day. We didn't take any family pictures or anything and were just speeding from ride to ride.
We also only went to MK and DHS. I would have rather done MK twice or have done a different park.

Yeah, I know about not being rich!

My wife and I went in July 03 and didn't take alot of money with us. Our last day there we were starving and broke. We spent our last thee dollars on an ice-cream sandwich and split it (the only thing we had to eat all day).

We still had a great time but it was tough.
