Hi Everyone,

My wife and I are going down to Disney World on November 18 - 23. I think the Christmas Celebration around the World Showcase strarts on November 28.So we are going to miss the start by a few days, but does anyone think that some of the decorations will be up a little early at Epcot so we would be able to enjoy them? Or are they pretty rigid in the dates they start the celebrations?

If anyone has expierenced being in the park before the start date and can lend some info about the time that would be great!!

Thanks in advance

I think it's safe to say that you'll enjoy some Christmas decorations. Due to the sheer volume of decorations, it's difficult to put all of them up over night. Also, since the castle already has it's lights on (not lit up, but physically on the castle itself) I think you'll see some really gorgeous stuff.

Have a fantastic trip!

My guess is that you will probably get to enjoy the decorations most if not all of them, but that the shows and lighting ceremonies and holiday performers won't start till November 28th.

Thanks everyone,

We were just hoping to see the trees and lights in Epcot more than we were worried about seeing the shows. So I'm glad that most of you think some of the decorations will be up a little early:sohappy:

A few years ago we were there for MNSSHP on the 31 st and just two days later MK had it's christmas tree up as well as epcot. So I think everything will pretty much be up and running as far as decorations at all the parks when your there.

The first MVMCP will be Nov 10, so althought not all holiday shows will be available, most (if not all) of the decorations will be up by Nov 10 - including Epcot.

Have a great trip !

The family and I have been there during the thanksgiving week and at the beginning of Nov., and they've had almost all the decorations up, they started with the osbourne lights in HS in July. Plus they have 135 trailors of decorations to put up so there should be just a few up all over the place when you get there.

So someone told me the holiday tag for RoE starts 11/28, that correct?? I've also heard Illuminations WILL get a new show next year and they assume that'll mean a new holiday tag as well.

My family does not have PH passes and we'll be at MK that day for Cindy's. I gotta find a way to get my family over there to see it!! Was really hoping the holiday tag would be there for that whole week of Thanksgiving.
