Hello again everybody, and welcome to a huge EPCOT Update, that I think you'll really like! So before we get to the loads of pictures, here's the Newsstuffs...

-They didn't open the parking lot until 8 for some reason. I don't remember that being the case.

-The Wand is how you say..."Outta' here". The wand's final words were "Tough crowd...Tough crowd."

-The Square plants on the ex-wand side are gone. replaced with palm trees.

-Labor Day crowds weren't bad. I walked on everything at diffrent times of the day.

-I was passing through Innoventions West, and I noticed that the Kidcot spot there was themed to Kim Possible. Then I saw the large portion of the building under rehab. Then the thought struck me. Won't the Kim Possible game's HQ and ending have a good place in innoventions? Makes sense to me...

-Saw the new O, Canada! I liked it. Very good and pretty funny. Liked pretty much everything Corey Burton said at the start of the film.

Does anyone know if the good new score and new version of the song "Canada, you're a lifetime journey" will be released in the 08 Album? I'd like to have them.

-I found the new Disney Star Wars action figures at MouseGear.

-The yellow EPCOT Center shirt was sold out again.

-Also, there is now a Gran Fiesta Tour T-shirt. (Picture included.)

-They had to restage my group on Mission: Space. Very annoying now that they have only TWO bays doing the REAL ride.

-Test Track was stop-and-go when I rode it.

Ok, that's it. Enjoy the pictures!

Would those be the Darth Goofy, Luke Mickey, Leia Minnie and Stormtrooper Donald figures? (If so, how much were they?)

Thanks for the updates once again!

Thanks for the update! Spaceship Earth looks amazing and very 1982-retro. :) It seems to be set now for the 25th Anniversary and you guys of Celebration 25. Too bad I can't be there though. :( I'll wear my Epcot water bottle lanyard on October 1st though. :D

I was informed that there is a different reason this portion of the building is under refurbishment. The exhibit is supposed to be more EPCOT-related, if that says anything... Actually, I prefer the idea of what I was told over the Kim Possible Challenge. Its just that cool to think about- if it is true...

OMG, the ball is so damn sexy!! I swear I'm gonna cry the 1st night I see it in all its naked glory. A girl friend of mine only got to see it in its pure form once, in '98. On the other hand, I thought I had the ball photographed and videotaped from every conceivable angle. (sigh) Time to do that all over again, haha!!

Oh yeah, and thanks for the pics!! I liked your comment about grave-dancing. I'll have to remember that for when I'm there.

Yeah, I JUST got to that photo, number 128! Do I see a Han Solo and Emperor on the bottom? Are they crossed with Disney characters as well?

Okay I was looking at them again... Stitch is the Emperor! Looks like Donald is Han Solo? These are the coolest figures ever! (MUST HAVE!)

Is it me, or does SSE look larger? All they need to do is put the clear acrylic oblysk(sp) back on the fountain and it will look 1982 retro again.

I actually giggled aloud when I read the title of this thread (maybe my secret inner fashion maven), and then again at "Tough crowd...Tough crowd."

Love the pics, helps with the homesickness! My husband is going to flip when he sees those Star Wars figures. He tried to collect all the mini ones that come in those character packs (don't ask me how much he spent on those)! Now we're going to have to spend more money when we go. But that's what you do at Disney - spend money!!!:)
