Hey everyone! Went back to Universal for a day, and I bring you pictures! First the notes!

ISLANDS OF ADVENTURE

-Not very crowded. Waits around 10 to 30 Minutes.

-The Enchated Oak is long gone, as I'm sure you know.

-Pretty much all effects on Spiderman were working, though a few of the screen's were fuzzy.

UNIVERSAL STUDIOS

-The Simpsons Ride was great! I had high expections, and they were met. The outside of the ride is a bit busy, but it makes up for it in funny signage. The pre-shows are fantastic, and I REALLY loved the ride film/lighting/effects/projectors in the main dome. I actually think it's overall a better ride than Back To The Future. (Only because the actual BTTF Ride Film was very dissapointing. This one lived up the hype of all the Pre-Shows you have to watch. Plus, it's not nearly as rough!)

-Mummy was great as always, but the first Imhotep wasn't working.

Very interesting, I haven't been to Universal since...1992 I think? Interesting to see what's the same (not that my 6 year old mind remembers much).

It's been a long time since I rode ROTM and an effect wasn't working. Last year it seemed like Imhotep was in B-mode every other time I visited. Spiderman on the otherhand was missing at least one noticeable effect almost every time I've ridden it recently.

Well, they fixed it. We got pretty soaked from it, as usual.

Nothing was closed that I know of.

Imhotep's coffin face of doom is SO much worse than the B-show at Everest.

I was there Saturday as well, was surprised at the lack of crowds. I had to go through your update just to see if I wound up in any of your photos :lol:

I saw the B-Mode Imhotep effect as well. I haven't been on ROTM too many times, so I thought something seemed wrong there but couldn't put my finger on it until reading this thread.
