How embarrassing! Disney spent all this money on this brand new show and equipment just to take down shortly after. They need to take a hard look at how they spend money. Come on DIS, be better than this. You used to be.
They just raise prices to pay for all their stupid decisions and then want us to keep coming back for more

Sure, but at least they were willing to kill it and start again. I was quite sure we were going to have to live with the steel behemoths for a few years so that they could wring as much life from them as possible. I can almost enjoy them on my next visit now knowing it's the last time I'll have to see them.

What, you don't like the shipyard look better than a great view of the world showcase?

We need time for things to happen.
It sux that this is the kind of stuff we have to be excited for, but hey you get what you get - I will give this a solid “yay!!”

The show wasn’t horrible, but it didn’t come close to warranting Stargate and the taco twin barges.

Harmonious COULD have worked had they just spent the extra money to expand the backstage harbor to dock the barges during the day instead of throwing up their hands, anchoring the beasts, then installing a half-@$$’d daytime fountain mode.

Alas, they’re now discovering that an ounce of prevention is far cheaper than a pound of cure.

I do believe the Fountains didn't fail much, if it all during Harm...

Happy World Showcase will be looking much better by summer but I’d like to formally request that the word “phased” be banned from DPB posts. At this point, it gives me post-traumatic stress. Just say “We will present Epcot Forever nightly until later in the year as we dismantle the Harmonious infrastructure. It will not go down without a fight and we do not negotiate with terrorists.”

I think it needed more work than that to function in the space. The central barge facing only one prime viewing area was another blunder. Anything they do needs to play to the entire lagoon perimeter.
