Your Floridian tax dollars at work...I have no idea who the Magic is starting April 3. As is typical of this company, they are waiting until the last moment to tell us. Incompetence.

All I can think of when I read this is that somehow I feel that this song will be in it."The show will feature an original composition and evocative selections from the Disney songbook – all woven together to remind us that we are more alike than different."

This was posted to twitter by someone. Are they working on the burnt barge or is this just something else?
Disney probably does not have the time to have a score composed and recorded in time for the changeover. Illuminations was a great piece of work. The pre-show music went along with the theme and music of the production. My opinion is that Disney knew Harmonious was a stinker and were hemmimg and hawing about changing it. Bob C. didn't want to spend alot of money on new music and concept. They already owned the IP music, so that didn't cost alot. And when people complained about the show, they just added some more fireworks to calm people down. As we all know, the original idea of EPCOT will never be followed, but Illuminations to me defined the Epcot "spirit". It should have its own atmosphere and not be part of Disney Pictures, Pixar and the like. Why cant fireworks just be fireworks?! Digital etc is well done but we prefer the fireworks and Disney has done a great job in the past without all the other stuff. Its the end of the day- some good music to remember and hear walking out and a besutiful display in the sky. Stick w what has worked!
Well the last I heard we are the magic, so we may have to bring our own sprinkles
Still should demand and answer though. Maybe after the 50th we are no longer the magic?
You'd be surprised at how quickly I:RoE came together.Disney probably does not have the time to have a score composed and recorded in time for the changeover. Illuminations was a great piece of work. The pre-show music went along with the theme and music of the production.
At double the priceAfter the 50th comes the 100th celebration - so we are now double the magic!
The show? Nearly 3 yearsYou'd be surprised at how quickly I:RoE came together.
Not to say that would be possible again, as the stars aligned perfectly for that score.
I'm more so speaking to the point where it all started coming together, rather than the earlier years of development. The show? Nearly 3 years
What cupcake flavor? Something smoky, of course.
So for $549, they’ll be likeNo flavor included, that's extra.
Totally, but I think this is the biggest problem Disney has had lately. It was apparent with Future World, Enchantment and now Tiana's Bayou Adventure. They spend way too little time these days in the planning stages to make sure every detail is perfect before they even pull a single permit.I'm more so speaking to the point where it all started coming together, rather than the earlier years of development.
Yep. I recommend bringing "flavor enhancers" with you, hidden in a bottle that appears to be normal sunscreen. So for $549, they’ll be like

In your secret binoculars flask, of course.Where will I put my absinthe, then?
