I have no idea who the Magic is starting April 3. As is typical of this company, they are waiting until the last moment to tell us. Incompetence.

My understanding is that the magic will be available for purchase next Thursday. In a different park that is. I've already purchased the magic for Epcot next month. It comes with Shepards Pie and a Blacksmith

This was posted to twitter by someone. Are they working on the burnt barge or is this just something else?

Nope, these are the pads that have been around since I:RoE. After being loaded, they sit docked in that canal before being pushed out along with the WW3 barges.

Originally they were used alongside both of the remaining WW3 barges for EPCOT Forever and Harmonious. When the East barge burned, they swapped it out with 2 pads on that side. As far as I know, East WW3 barge has already been repaired and tested for EPCOT Forever.

Why cant fireworks just be fireworks?! Digital etc is well done but we prefer the fireworks and Disney has done a great job in the past without all the other stuff. Its the end of the day- some good music to remember and hear walking out and a besutiful display in the sky. Stick w what has worked!

Disney probably does not have the time to have a score composed and recorded in time for the changeover. Illuminations was a great piece of work. The pre-show music went along with the theme and music of the production. My opinion is that Disney knew Harmonious was a stinker and were hemmimg and hawing about changing it. Bob C. didn't want to spend alot of money on new music and concept. They already owned the IP music, so that didn't cost alot. And when people complained about the show, they just added some more fireworks to calm people down. As we all know, the original idea of EPCOT will never be followed, but Illuminations to me defined the Epcot "spirit". It should have its own atmosphere and not be part of Disney Pictures, Pixar and the like.

You'd be surprised at how quickly I:RoE came together.

Not to say that would be possible again, as the stars aligned perfectly for that score.

I'm more so speaking to the point where it all started coming together, rather than the earlier years of development.
Totally, but I think this is the biggest problem Disney has had lately. It was apparent with Future World, Enchantment and now Tiana's Bayou Adventure. They spend way too little time these days in the planning stages to make sure every detail is perfect before they even pull a single permit.

Yep. I recommend bringing "flavor enhancers" with you, hidden in a bottle that appears to be normal sunscreen.
Where will I put my absinthe, then? I had a CM
ask me why I was drinking my sunscreen once and I replied, “the sun is so strong here that it can get you on the inside, too.”

He promptly downed an ounce of Up&Up and complimented its floral notes.
